In order to support securely drink containers of different sizes which are inserted, the supports are pivoted outward, forcibly controlled, by the pivot arms through half the pivot angle of the pivot arms.

The double connector for connecting two bodies, especially for connecting two slabs of stone, marble or the like, consists of two anchoring elements (4,5), one in each body being connected, and a sleeve-like connecting piece (1) including two stud parts on opposite ends. The connecting piece (1) is connectable with the stud parts on the anchoring elements located in drilled holes provided in the bodies. So that the double connector, in addition to having a simple assembly, can absorb comparatively large tensile and compressive forces, at least one anchoring element (4,5) consists of an expansion element (7) received in one (13) of the drilled holes and a anchor core (6) consisting of a cone (8) and a bolt part (6') extending from the cone (8) and provided with a bolt collar (9) spaced from the cone (8). The bolt collar (9) of the bolt part (6') engages or locks in a suitable undercut (15) provided in one of the stud parts. The expansion element (7) is braced in the drilled hole (13) when the anchor core (6) connected with the stud part with the undercut is inserted onto it due to engagement of the expansion element (7) with the end face (E) of the stud part so as to secure the double connector in the drilled hole (13).

The fixing system for facing panels (1) consists of a substructure fixed to a wall. The substructure has supporting elements (6) on which profiled panel supports (2) connected to the rear side of the facing panels can be hung. The supporting elements (6) include, for each facing panel element (5), one locating supporting element (7) and at least three non-locating supporting elements (8). The locating supporting element (7) is preferably arranged in an upper corner region of a facing panel element (5) and is fixedly connected to the corresponding profiled panel support (2) of the facing panel element (5). Furthermore, the locating supporting element (7) has an adjusting means allowing horizontal and vertical adjustment. The non-locating supporting element (8), preferably at the other top corner region of the facing panel element (5), is likewise provided with an adjusting means for vertical adjustment. The fixing system according to the invention allows easy mounting and orientation of the facing panels, and is a statically defined system, which avoids stresses caused by thermal expansion within the system.

A method is provided for manufacturing interlocking parts, in which at least one part is manufactured by powder injection molding. To compensate for the amount of contraction of one of the parts manufactured by powder injection molding and, if desired, to produce an additional clearance, a separation layer of plastic material is applied between the interlocking parts. After the injection process to form the separation layer, the separation layer and the binder are removed by a binder-removing and sintering process step. The method is also applicable to powdered metal extrusion for manufacture of double-layered metal parts.

To increase the holding force of the anchor and to allow the expander cone to slide-up and the expansible sleeve to expand in operation if the drilled hole become enlarged as a result of cracks forming, the locking elements consist of several interconnected punched elements on each expansible segment extending in a longitudinal direction of the expansible segments. Each punched element is triangular with a point directed towards the front end of the expansible segments. An improved method of making the expansible anchor which includes stamping a blank for the expansible sleeve somewhat undersized from sheet metal, subsequently pressing it and then punching the punched elements in the expansible sleeve is also described.

The storage device includes slider members, each having a resilient clasp element for receiving and holding a recording medium housing. Each of the slider members is spring-loaded and slidable between a storage position in the storage device housing and an unloading position contained completely within the housing. In the unloading position a recording medium housing held by the slider member projects from a housing opening in the storage device housing so that it can be removed from the slider member but the slider member need not be pushed back. The storage device has a locking device for each slider member including a resilient blade attached to the storage device housing at one end and having a latching element at the other end so that, when a recording medium housing is put into a housing opening and received by a slider member in the unloading position, it can be pushed into the housing and secured in the storage position. An unlocking device including a push button mounted on the housing next to each housing opening is provided so the slider member can be released from the storage position to slide into the unloading position simply and reliably.
