    摘要: A holder for drink containers in a motor vehicle has a slider member that can be pulled out and on which are mounted pivot arms which, when pulled out, pivot laterally outward, and which, with cut-away portions in the slider member, form insertion openings for drink containers, and has supports which pivot downwards when the slider member is pulled out. In order to support securely drink containers of different sizes which are inserted, the supports are pivoted outward, forcibly controlled, by the pivot arms through half the pivot angle of the pivot arms.

    摘要: The present invention provides a multiple exposure image position securing device for a camera having a housing, the device having a slide positioned on the housing, a rewind release button protruding from the housing adjacent the slide, a film transport mechanism located within the housing, a coupler located within the housing and coupled with the film transport mechanism, a lever mechanism extending between the rewind release button and the coupler, a catch lever selectively engaging the coupler, a pawl selectively engaging the film transport mechanism, and a winder positioned on the housing and coupled to the film transport mechanism. The present invention further provides a method of securing a multiple exposure image position in a camera having a disengaging device, having the steps of providing a slide and a rewind release button, actuating the rewind release button with the slide to actuate a coupler and disengage the coupler from a film transport mechanism, and rotating an eccentric spindle with the slide to (1) disengage a catch lever from the coupler and (2) pivot a retaining pawl attached to the eccentric spindle to engage the film transport mechanism to secure the image position.

    摘要: In an air conditioning system for the passenger cabin of an aircraft, the conditioned air is essentially provided by an air conditioning plant and is introduced into the passenger cabin through several individual air distribution systems (5 to 10) which are each associated with a respective air introduction section (A1 to A6). The length of the passenger cabin is to be divided into several air conditioning zones, for example three air conditioning zones, wherein the number of air introduction sections (A1 to A6) is a multiple of the number of air conditioning zones (2 to 4). A zone temperature sensor (18 to 20) and an associated separate temperature regulation system is provided for each air conditioning zone. A zone control unit (41) is connected to all of the temperature controls of the separate air distribution systems (5 to 10), whereby the zone control (41) selectively associates or couples each air distribution system (5 to 10) with a determined air conditioning zone (2 to 4 ). In this manner it is possible to select and alter the configuration of the air conditioning zones in the passenger cabin as desired without requiring any physical or mechanical alteration to the air conditioning system, but rather simply by inputting appropriate control signals.

    摘要: An improved process for the production of a substantially equimolecular copolymer of maleic acid anhydride and diisobutylene in which from 10 to 100 mole % of the anhydride groups are esterified with linear or branched aliphatic monoalcohols containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms or with cycloaliphatic monoalcohols containing from 5 to 6 carbon atoms to form the corresponding semiesters, wherein shortly before or after the end of the solution or suspension copolymerization of maleic acid anhydride and diisobutylene a monomer corresponding to the general formula ##STR1## in which R=H, CH.sub.3, C.sub.2 H.sub.5, --OR.sub.2, --O--CO--CH.sub.3, ##STR2## --CH.sub.2 OH, --CH.sub.2 O--C--CH.sub.3, R.sub.1 =H , CH.sub.3 andR.sub.2 =a linear or branched alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms,Or mixtures of these monomers with one another are added to the polymerization mixture in quantities of from 1 to 12 mole %, based on the maleic acid anhydride used. The aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic alkali, amine or ammonium salt solutions of the semiesters of the copolymer are highly effective as anionic sizing agents for paper.

    摘要: A cooling system is provided for cooling food in an aircraft while the food is stored in known catering trolleys that are stowed at prescribed stowage locations, preferably for example at least one on-board galley (3A to 3E) within the aircraft cabin. The cooling system includes at least one central cooling plant (4) located below the cabin floor of the aircraft. Heat exchanger units (9A, 9B, 17A, 17B) are provided in the galleys (3A to 3E). A distribution conduit system, including a supply conduit (5) and a return conduit (6) as well as connector conduits (10A, 10B, 11A, 11B), couples the central cooling plant (4) with the respective heat exchangers (9A, 9B, 17A, 17B) arranged in the galleys (3A to 3E). Connector adapters are provided at various locations along the supply conduit (5) and the return conduit (6), and the connector conduits (10A, 10B, 11A, 11B) include quick connectors that are connectable to the adapters. The galleys may quickly and easily be repositioned as desired within the cabin to achieve different cabin layouts. The heat and noise of the cooling plant is removed from the cabin to an underfloor space, and a more efficient installation and reconfiguration of the system, as well as an overall space and weight saving, is achieved.
