    摘要： A system for dispensing texture material in a desired spray pattern that substantially matches an existing texture pattern on a target surface has a container assembly, an actuator assembly, and a concentrate. The concentrate comprises a solvent/carrier comprising water, wall texture material, a first anti-corrosion material, where the first anti-corrosion material is a phosphate ester and comprises approximately 0.1-5.0% by weight of the concentrate, and a second anti-corrosion material, where the second anti-corrosion material is sodium nitrite and comprises approximately 0.25-2.00% by weight of the concentrate. The concentrate is disposed within the container assembly such that the water is exposed to the inner surface of the container assembly. At least one of the first and second anti-corrosion materials forms a film that inhibits corrosion on tin-plated steel forming at least part of the inner surface of the container assembly.

The aerosol dispenser has an inner surface comprised at least in part of tin-plated steel. The concentrate comprises a solvent/carrier comprising water, a resin/binder, filler material, a first anti-corrosion material, and a second anti-corrosion material. The first anti-corrosion material is a phosphate ester and comprises approximately 0.5-2.0% by weight of the concentrate. The second anti-corrosion material is sodium nitrite and comprises approximately 0.05-1.00% by weight of the concentrate.

    摘要： A method of covering an anomaly in a wall substantially to match a pre-existing texture pattern surrounding the anomaly. The method comprises the following steps. A valve is supported on a container assembly to define a main chamber. Contained material comprising wall material concentrate and propellant material is disposed within the main chamber. An actuator relative is arranged relative to the container assembly such that displacement of a button relative to the valve changes the valve from a closed configuration to an open configuration in which a portion of the propellant material is allowed to force the contained material out of the main chamber through the outlet. A first portion of the contained material is applied to the anomaly by directing the outlet at the anomaly and displacing the button. Optionally, a second portion of the contained material may be applied to the base coat by directing the outlet at the base coat and displacing the button. If applied, the second portion of the contained material forms a desired texture pattern on the base coat that substantially matches the pre-existing texture pattern.

The agent for replacing the volatile coalescing solvent contributes little or nothing to a total VOC level in the coating composition. As such, the coating composition may be formulated to have a VOC content of less than or equal to 150 g/L, which meets or exceeds standards for VOC content in interior and exterior flat and non-flat paints for all sheen ranges, while providing equivalent or superior properties to those provided by volatile coalescing solvents.
