    摘要: A rail fastening of the kind in which a rail, having a field edge and a gauge edge is fastened to a rail tie by a rail seat including a rail, a rail tie and a rail pad between the tie and the rail, a pair of rail clamp supports secured to the tie on either side of the rail and abutting the rail pad, and a rail clamp associated with each rail clamp support and each clamp having a portion secured in the clamp support and a portion bearing down on the rail flange. The rail pad electrically and dynamically insulates the rail tie from the rail and there is a rib provided on the field edge portion of the rail pad to reduce the intensity of the pressure on the pad under the field edge of the rail.

    摘要: A sound-damping rail assembly for a track for rail vehicles comprises a rail having a pair of downwardly converging flanks below its head and above its base. The rail is received in a frame with downwardly inclined sides, the flanks being braced against these sides by elastomeric layers which are interposed between the flanks and the sides. A further elastic layer can be provided between the base or foot of the rail and the inner supporting surface of the frame and such layers may completely envelop the rail except for the head.

    摘要: A mount for a railroad rail having an inner side turned toward another such rail and an outer side turned away from the other rail has a one-piece base supported on the ground under the one rail and formed with an upwardly open recess having inner and outer base flanks respectively generally under and parallel to the inner and outer sides, the outer base flank being formed as an inwardly overhanging ridge. An insert attached to the rail and received in the recess has respective inner and outer insert edges, the former of which is overhung by the ridge. An elastomeric body lies between the inner flank and inner edge and supports the insert in the base. Due to the overhang of the base edge, it is possible to make the base in one piece at least outward from a location underneath the rail. Thus there is no need to make the base from two parts split along a horizontal plane and requiring tedious assembly in the field.

Continuous clamps extend along each side of the rail.
