Abstract:
An opening and closing device opens and closes a sliding door by using a cable connected to the sliding door movably attached to a vehicle body. The opening and closing device has a base bracket, a motor, a transmission, a rotary drum, a first conduit fixed portion, a second conduit fixed portion, a first tension controller and a second tension controller. The base bracket is fixed to the vehicle body with bolts. The motor, the transmission, the rotary drum, the first and second conduit fixed portions and the first and second tension controllers are fixed to a disposition face of the base bracket. The first and second tension controllers are respectively disposed between the rotary drum and the first conduit fixed portion and between the rotary drum and the second conduit fixed portion, and applies tension to the cable fed from the rotary drum to take up the slack.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an opening device for a flap of a vehicle, in particular for a rear flap, which can be pivoted about a horizontal pivot axis on the upper edge of an opening in the vehicle body from a downwardly directed closed position into an upwardly directed open position. It has a gas-filled spring coupled to the body by the free end of its piston rod at a distance from the pivot axis and coupled to the flap by its pressure tube at a distance from the pivot axis. In this case, the gas-filled spring in the extension direction applies a force to the flap in the opening direction. Furthermore, there is an actuator by means of which a torque can act on the flap in the opening direction. The actuator is an energy accumulator which, from its tensioned position, applies a force to the flap during its opening stroke from the closed position until a relaxed position of the energy accumulator is reached.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hold-open apparatus for controlling the position of a door, preferably a screen door or storm door. The apparatus is used in conjunction with a piston assembly and can maintain a door in a predetermined open position, such as about 45° to about 100° in relation to a closed position. In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus can automatically lock and/or unlock when the door reaches predetermined positions. The apparatus advantageously can be retrofitted to existing door assemblies.

Abstract:
A double glazing arrangement has at least one pane mounted between two opposed vertical channels and arranged for both vertical sliding movement within the confines of the channels without the provision of a counterbalancing system and movement in at least one lateral direction for removal of the pane without any initial dismantling of the arrangement. Releasable catches are provided which are for both holding the pane in a plurality of raised positions and preventing lateral movement of the pane. The arrangement is particularly advantageous for a pane of transparent acrylic material.
Abstract:
A normally pressure-free, failsafe, emergency door closer for use in hospitals, nursing homes or other locations where handicapped persons are housed, comprising an actuating mechanism triggered by a sensing device such as a smoke detector, a spring-loaded arm with a bumper on one end to engage the door and the other end of the arm rotatably attached to the wall adjacent to and above the door and free to rotate in a horizontal plane. The spring-loaded arm is retained in an open position by a vertical pin engaging the horizontal closer arm. The pin is mechanically linked to the armature of an electromagnet opposed by a coil spring. On signal from the sensing device the electromagnet releases the armature and the coil spring urges the pin upwards releasing the closer arm, the end of which engages the door and closes it.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door operator device and sectional overhead door system with anti-pressure and anti-theft functions, principally having a small-tooth-difference reduction gear and a ratchet-locking device. An input end of the small-tooth-difference reduction gear is kinematically connected to an input shaft; an output end of the small-tooth-difference reduction gear is kinematically connected to a shaft; the small-tooth-difference reduction gear includes a ratchet on its outer circumference; the ratchet-locking device is controlled to selectively lock or unlock the ratchet. When the ratchet-locking device locks the ratchet, it can realize the anti-theft function; when the ratchet-locking device unlocks the ratchet, and the shaft is driven by the input shaft through the small-tooth-difference reduction gear, but the shaft decelerates, stops, or even reverses due to an obstacle encountered or other factors, the input shaft and the small-tooth-difference reduction gear will idle automatically.
Abstract:
Self-closing safety gate embodiments are disclosed herein. The self-closing safety gates include a hinge plate configured to rotate about a vertical support member and engage a hoop portion. In some embodiments, the hinge plate includes at least one support arm portion with a channel. In such embodiments, the channel can be configured to receive and frictionally engage a hoop arm of the hoop portion with a compressive fastener. In some embodiments, the self-closing safety gate can be damped.
Abstract:
A switched-mode light-emitting diode (LED) display unit satisfying fire-fighting smoke exhaust and ventilation requirements includes an LED display unit, a mounting member, an opening-closing actuator and a pressing member. The LED display unit is mounted on the mounting member and the mounting member is mounted on a display panel by an opening-closing actuator and pressed against the display panel by a pressing member. The switched-mode LED display unit provides the pressing member that works to release the pressed mounting member after obtaining a triggering command and the opening-closing actuator that turns on the LED display unit subsequently, thereby meeting the fire smoke exhaust ventilation requirement of the internal surface or the external surface of a building.
