Abstract:
A bearing arrangement for an adjustment device of a motor vehicle, comprising a plurality of guide provided at a carrier assembly, which define an adjustment path for an adjustable window pane and which are spaced from each other transversely to the adjustment path, and a driver which on the one hand includes means for connection of the window pane to be adjusted and which on the other hand is provided with guiding elements such that with the guide a guiding element of the driver each is movably in engagement along the associated guide. At least one of the guiding elements is pivotally connected with the driver via a bearing element, which is positively held in a bearing region by a securing element.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotation path detection device for vehicles of public transportation having a drive device (20) for an entry/exit apparatus, which is mounted so it can be pivoted and/or displaced. Said apparatus has a drive unit (22), an electric drive motor (44), and a first reduction gear (26) and a second reduction gear (72), which is connected to the drive motor (44), having a sensor for ascertaining the position of the reduction gear.
Abstract:
An integrated gas strut actuator strut assembly particularly adapted for providing power actuation of a motor vehicle lift gate or other opening closure. The system integrates the function of a counterbalancing gas spring and that of a electrically powered actuator. The system incorporates a strut assembly including a gas charged cylinder, and internal plunger and a threaded rod. Rotation of the threaded rod through a cable drive system causes the internal plunger to be advanced or retracted within the cylinder. Another feature of the invention are various embodiments of couplers between the gas cylinder plunger and rod and connectors for the assembly to the vehicle.
Abstract:
A gas spring is mounted through a unique mount structure including a socket joint. The socket joint is mounted in a yoke for rotation through 180° about an axis of the yoke. The inventive structure provides greater freedom of movement than the prior art, and in many applications will allow rotation for more than 180°.
Abstract:
A drive assembly for a toothed rack and channel track type of power liftgate attaches the liftgate lift rod to the toothed rack indirectly, through a shoe-yoke assembly that transfers axial loads, but isolates the rack from non axial reactive loads transferred through the lift rod. A rigid yoke fits closely within axially spaced ends of a notch in the rack, but has a clearance elsewhere from the outside of the rack. The outside of the yoke is closely surrounded by a shoe, which provides a close fitting, slidable bearing layer with the inside of the channel track, maintaining the yoke to rack clearance. The maintenance of the yoke-rack clearance prevents the transmission of undesired reactive loads back to the rack through the yoke.
Abstract:
A construction of a door glass guide in a motor vehicle, wherein a door glass of a three-dimensional curved surface is vertically movably guided, slide members each having a spherical head portion being shifted into a compartment are mounted at least at upper end portions of front and rear end edges of the door glass;a pair of front and rear guide channel portions are provided on a door frame, the guide channel portions having curvatures substantially equal to respective curvatures of the front and rear end edges of the door glass in the longitudinal section thereof, for vertically, slidably guiding the slide members.
