    摘要: The present invention relates to a universal serial bus (USB) connector for use in a base unit in a car kit comprising at least two pairs of shielded connection lines. It further relates to a USB cable for providing a shielded connection between a mobile unit and a car kit adaptor. The USB connector for use in a base unit in a car-kit comprises two twin axial connectors (430) including two inner contacts separated by a dielectric and further adapted to be connected to respective complementary connectors and two pairs of shielded connection lines (104 and 104′). Each pair is connected to a twin axial connector (430). Further, a shielded USB bridge (100) connects the two pairs of connection lines (104 and 104′) to four cable terminations (106) to form a USB line (108). The bridge (100) is mounted in the base unit (400′) with the twin axial connectors (430) located in modified guide gins (441) that extend from the base unit.

    摘要: An L-shaped coaxial connector manufacturable at low costs includes a housing having a cylinder portion and a back portion. The cylinder portion includes a first opening and a second opening, and the cylinder portion is in contact with an external conductor of a receptacle inserted from the first opening. The back portion is connected to the cylinder portion and covers the second opening. The housing is made of a metal plate. The diameter of a part of a bushing contained in the cylinder portion is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the first opening. The housing further includes a crimping portion extending from the back portion. The crimping portion fixes the bushing to the housing by being bent so as to face the back portion with the bushing therebetween.

    摘要: A board mount type right angle coaxial connector has a cylindrical body and a main body containing a dielectric and an air dielectric, respectively. The bodies are connected to each other at a right angle. The coaxial connector further has a conductor surrounded with the dielectric and the air dielectric. The conductor has also a right-angle structure and is protruded from a front side of the main body. An inner wall of the main body has a decreasing width and the conductor has a decreasing diameter. The coaxial connector may further has a fixing member for preventing pin rotation, a impedance matching ring, and ground supporters for mounting on the board.

The connector can also include a first housing defining a first cavity and a second cavity that intersects the first cavity. The coaxial cable segment can be received into the first cavity through the second cavity and can exit the first housing through the second cavity. The connector can include a second housing having a conductive sleeve. The second housing can be received into the first housing such that the conductive sleeve exits the first housing through the second cavity and electrically engages the coaxial cable. The coaxial cable can be received within the conductive sleeve and the conductive sleeve of the second housing can be disposed concentrically about the coaxial cable.

    摘要: A high-power coaxial cable is disclosed comprising an inner conductor, an outer conductor coaxially disposed about and spaced from the inner conductor, and insulating fittings disposed between the inner and outer conductors near opposite ends of the cable to maintain a desired spacing between the inner and outer conductors. The insulating fitting at one end of the cable has a plurality of longitudinal holes therethrough to reduce the dielectric constant and the impedance of the fitting. The fitting is formed in two like sections joined at right angles to one another along a substantially 45.degree. interface, thereby defining a short 90.degree. turn for the inner conductor near the end of the cable. The fitting sections are retained in position by a surrounding mounting block, the opposite ends of which respectively receive a conductive sleeve and an end of the outer coaxial conductor in press-fit relationship.
