摘要: An electrically heated catalyst device has a catalyst that purifies exhaust gas from an engine, and is configured to heat the catalyst with electric power that is supplied from an electric storage device. A current sensor detects a current that is supplied to the electrically heated catalyst device. A current sensor detects an input/output current of the electric storage device. A controller executes failure determination control to determine whether the current sensor has a failure. In the failure determination control, the controller estimates a current that is supplied to the electrically heated catalyst device using a detection value of the current sensor and compares the estimated current with a detection value of the current sensor to determine whether the current sensor has a failure.

摘要: A vehicle control system includes electronic controllers and first and second communications networks. The electronic controllers control a vehicle including an internal combustion engine and a drive motor. The electronic controllers include a management controller to manage travel control of the vehicle and a motor drive controller to control the drive motor. The first and second communications networks connect the electronic controllers together. The electronic controllers communicate via the first and second communications networks. The motor drive controller is configured to stop the drive motor when it is determined that a fault has occurred in the first communications network and configured to transmit information indicating that the fault has occurred in the first communications network to the management controller via the second communications network. The management controller is configured to control the electronic controllers not to communicate via the first communications network in response to the information.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for identifying degradation of active engine mounts coupled to a vehicle engine. By correlating the monitored vibrational pattern to a selected active mounts operating mode, the conditions of active engine mounts may be distinguished. Timely diagnosis of active engine mounts may improve active engine mount health and prevent noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) issues.

摘要: A electric motor system for supplying assistive propelling power to a bicycle, comprising: one or more drivetrains, each comprising a motor-drive shaft having a pinion with fixed drive system driving a crown and bearing assembly connected to a spindle; and a controller for executing a motor control sequence comprising: an initial state activated by a rider's start command where the motor speed is being detected for an initial period, and if the motor speed is higher than a first speed threshold continuously for a first period, then the motor is turned on to output a rider-selected torque level; a continuous motor speed detection state where the motor speed is being continuously detected, and if the motor speed falls below a second speed threshold continuously for a second period, then the motor is turned off; and the motor is turned off if a stop command from the rider is received.

摘要: A method for enforced discharge of a hybrid vehicle is aimed at discharging a voltage formed in a high-voltage system of a hybrid vehicle to safely remove risk factors due to high voltage when enforced discharge is requested. The method includes determining whether enforced discharge is requested, speed-controlling a motor connected to an engine so as to transmit power to the engine to reduce speed of the motor to zero revolutions per minute, stopping the engine connected to the speed-controlled motor when the enforced discharge is requested, and performing enforced discharge control for enforced-discharging a voltage of a high-voltage system when the engine is stopped.

The fault detection systems determine when certain operating conditions, which may affect the proper operation of the system, occur. The response systems take appropriate action based on which fault conditions are triggered. Example fault detection systems and processes include detection systems for different types of leaks, sensor malfunctions, or operation errors.
