Abstract: A pressure cell for sum frequency generation spectroscopy includes: a metal pressure chamber; a heating stage that heats a liquid sample; an ultrasonic stage that emulsifies the liquid sample; a chamber pump that pressurizes an interior of the metal pressure chamber; and a controller that controls the chamber pump, the ultrasonic stage, and the heating stage to control a pressure of the interior of the metal pressure chamber, an emulsification of the liquid sample, and a temperature of the liquid sample, respectively. The metal pressure chamber includes: a liquid sample holder that retains the liquid sample; a removable lid that seals against a base; a window in the removable lid; a sample inlet that flows the liquid sample from an exterior of the metal pressure chamber to the liquid sample holder at a predetermined flow rate; and a sample outlet.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus (100) for collecting dust samples. The apparatus comprises a piston (102) and a cylinder (110) for holding the piston with a body having a hole (108) extending through the body. The cylinder (110) has a first end (112), which is open, the first end of the cylinder being slanted such that underside (130) of the cylinder extends farther than upper side (132). A mechanism (114) moves the piston between inward and outward positions. The apparatus gathers dust flowing past the piston into the hole of the piston when the piston is in the outward position and moves the gathered dust by moving the piston into the inward position. An input feed (116) is configured to spread fluid through the hole filled with dust to flush the dust to an output feed (118).

Abstract: A disposable blood sampler for a blood braid of a blood bag includes a blood taking needle cannula, a threaded cannula, a blood braid clamp, a connecting pipe, a needle inserting sheet and a blood braid. The blood taking needle cannula includes a tubular threaded structure at both ends, a bottom port of the threaded cannula is connected with the blood taking needle cannula, and an upper port of the threaded cannula includes symmetrically distributed clamping slots extending to a middle lower part of the wall. Grips are arranged on the outer wall surface of the blood braid clamp, and the blood braid clamp is arranged in the threaded cannula. The grip is arranged outside the clamping slot, and the connecting pipe is directly inserted into the upper port. An inner cavity in which the needle inserting sheet is placed is arranged inside the inner part of the connecting pipe.
