摘要: A stator winding insulation for improving the dielectric and thermal properties of a main insulation of a conductor bar of an electric machine. The stator winding insulation includes a mica band having at least one layer-like carrier composed of longitudinal threads and transverse threads and a mica-containing layer fixed to at least one face of the carrier with the aid of a binder. In the layer-like carrier, the volume ratio of the longitudinal threads to the transverse threads is greater than or equal to 2.5:1 and a weight ratio of the mica in the mica-containing layer to the layer-like carrier in the mica band is greater than or equal to 6:1.

摘要: An electrical wire and box connector (10) removably insertable into an opening of a standard electrical box functioning to hold electrical wire therein. The electrical wire and box connector (10) having a housing cylinder (12) which has a housing cylinder front (12F) connected to a housing cylinder rear (12R) by a housing cylinder middle (12M) having a housing cylinder middle front valley (12MF) and a housing cylinder middle center ridge (12MC) which is positioned adjacent to a rear of the housing cylinder middle front valley (12MF). The housing cylinder middle front valley (12MF) has a diameter similar to a diameter of the opening in the electrical box. The housing cylinder middle center ridge (12MC) has a diameter larger than to the diameter of the opening in the electrical box. The electrical wire and box connector (10) further has a wire holder (14) movably mounted within the housing cylinder (12). The wire holder (14) has a wire holder plate (14A) attached to an inside surface of the housing cylinder middle (12M) by a wire holder stem (14B). The wire holder plate (14A) further has a wire holder channel (14C) therein. An opening formed between the wire holder channel (14C) and the inside surface of the housing cylinder middle (12M) is smaller than the electrical wire. A user inserts the electrical wire into the housing cylinder (12) through the wire holder channel (14C) and pushes the electrical wire and box connector (10) into the opening of the electrical box. The housing cylinder middle front valley (12MF) functions to engage an outer periphery of the opening of the electrical box. The housing cylinder middle center ridge (12MC) functions as a stopper to prevent the user from pushing the electrical wire and box connector (10) completely through the opening of the electrical box.

摘要: A power line insulator clamp for clamping a power line to the top of a power line-holding insulator which comprises first and second clamping members pivotally hinged together by a hinge connection. The first clamping member has a first section configured to extend from the hinge connection across the top of the insulator so as to overlay a power line groove on the top of the insulator, and a second section configured to extend transversely of the first section for engaging a tie wire groove on the insulator. The second clamping member has a third section configured to extend from the hinge connection transversely of the first section for engaging the tie wire groove on the insulator. The hinge connection is located to one side of the clamp so as to not interfere with the insulator or a power line extended across the insulator. An actuator is coupled to the first and second clamping members for opening and closing the clamp.

摘要: A method of securing a corona ring for controlling a corona discharge, including inserting a support member of an insulator to be secured, between a first ring securing portion arranged integrally with the corona ring and a second ring securing portion arranged independently with respect to the first ring securing portion, and fixing the first ring securing portion and the second ring securing portion from each other. In this method, since a corona discharge ring improper mounting preventing apparatus is arranged on the first ring securing portion, one of the ring securing portions is preliminarily secured to the support member, a ring securing method at the seal portion of the support member is improved and/or a corona discharge ring improper mounting preventing apparatus is arranged on said support member it is not possible to fix the corona ring to the support member if the corona ring is secured in an incorrect position with respect to the support member. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a corona ring mis-securing operation.

摘要: A method of manufacturing insulators with an excellent high-voltage performance having a core member, a sheath arranged on outer surface of the core member and a shed arranged on an outer surface of the sheath is disclosed. In a first aspect of the invention, a method includes the steps of arranging the sheath made of non-cured polymer materials on an outer surface of the core member, arranging a plurality of the sheds made of cured polymer materials on an outer surface of the sheath, and curing the sheath to connect the sheath to the sheds. In a second aspect of the invention, a method includes the steps of arranging the sheath made of cured polymer materials on an outer surface of the core member, arranging a plurality sheds made of cured polymer materials on an outer surface of the sheath, and connecting the sheath to the sheds by using adhesives. In both aspects, a small diameter portion in which a diameter becomes gradually smaller is arranged on all or a part of an inner circumferential surface of the shed to which the sheath is connected, and a securing force of the shed with respect to the sheath is largest at a minimum diameter portion of the small diameter portion as compared with the other portions.

摘要: A device for opening of an electrical wire insulating cover allowing access to the interior walls of the insulating cover for purposes of inspection or cleaning. A preferred embodiment teaches a one piece rigid structure formed from a first wall having a semi-circular longitudinally rolled shape spaced apart from a second sidewall having a mirror shaped semi-circular longitudinally rolled formation wherein each sidewall forms a partial cavity allowing for placement of the leading edge of an electric insulating cover. The sidewalls are spaced apart by use of either an adjustable or fixed saddle portion which is used in biasing the outer surface of the insulating cover while the leading edges of the cover are placed within partial cavities. Upon placement, the insulating cover is maintained in an open position allowing inspection of the interior chamber.

摘要: An insulating support is provided for vacuum switch tubes with actuator units to be used in switchgears, in particular in gas-filled units. The insulating support has a flatbed-type extruded plastic piece with a profile fitting around the periphery of the actuator unit of the vacuum switch tubes, with the ends of the insulating support being provided with attachment arms extending in opposite directions and containing screw beds arranged symmetrically in relation to the longitudinal axis. Such insulating supports are used for accommodating and securing vacuum switch tubes equipped with actuator units for switchgears.

摘要: The present invention provides for use with a circuit board having an aperture formed therein for receiving an electrical component therethrough, an electrical component assembling device. The electrical component device, in a preferred embodiment, includes a body member configured to receive the electrical component and at least partially extend through the aperture. A first clip is coupled to the body member and includes a first pressure bearing member for exerting a force against the circuit board to thereby secure the body member to the circuit board. The device further includes a second clip coupled to the body member. The second clip also includes a second pressure bearing member for exerting a force against the electrical component to thereby secure the electrical component to the body member. Thus, the first and second clips act in concert to hold the electrical component and the body member secure with respect to the circuit board.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a casting method for forming a resin molding which is able to cast the resin molding according to an assembly line production system while completely eliminating variations in quality between products. In the casting method according to the present invention, a plurality of metal molds are circulated at a given time difference in the order of a step of casting a hardenable resin composition into a preheated metal mold, a step of heating and hardening the casted resin composition, and a step of releasing the hardened product from the metal mold and assembling the metal mold. There are provided a plurality of heating devices and, while one metal mold in the hardening step is being heated by one of the heating devices, the other metal mold is heated at the above given time difference by the other of the heating devices.
