摘要: Systems and methods for simultaneously performing engine coolant stagnation and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler cooling in an engine include providing a coolant circuit configured to flow coolant through both a block of the engine and an EGR cooler of a cooled EGR (CEGR) system of the engine, a main pump on the coolant circuit that is driven by an electric motor or a crankshaft of the engine to pump coolant through a block of the engine, and a secondary pump on the coolant circuit that, when energized, is configured to pump coolant through the coolant circuit, and, during a cold start of the engine, de-energizing the electric motor or disconnecting the main pump from the engine crankshaft to stagnate coolant in the engine block and energizing the secondary pump to flow coolant through the EGR cooler of the CEGR system.

摘要: A vehicle thermal management system is provided that includes an integrated thermal management (ITM) valve having a coolant outlet flow path that is connected to each of heat exchangers, which include one or more among a coolant inlet connected to an engine coolant outlet of an engine and into which coolant flows, a heater core, an EGR cooler, an oil warmer, and an ATF warmer, and a radiator and through which the coolant is distributed. A water pump is disposed at the front end of an engine coolant inlet of the engine and a coolant branch flow path is branched at the front end of the engine coolant inlet to be connected to any one of the heat exchangers.

摘要: Provided is an exhaust gas recirculating device which can curb strange noises caused by the opening and closing of a reed valve. An EGR duct (14) has a greater volume than the prior art in order to curb resonance within the EGR passage (Eg) of the opening and closing sounds generated by the reed valve (13). Specifically, the EGR duct (14) has resonant frequency characteristics which differ from the resonance frequency of the reed valve (13), and has a shape such that strange noises generated by the reed valve (13) do not resonate within the EGR duct (14).

摘要: Intake noise suppression techniques for a forced-induction engine having a low pressure exhaust gas recirculation (LPEGR) system configured to recirculate exhaust gas produced by the engine to an intake system of the engine via an EGR port comprise receiving, from a mass air flow (MAF) sensor of the engine, a MAF signal indicative of measured airflow through the intake system, detecting, based on the MAF signal, intake system conditions that are indicative of audible noise, and in response to detecting the detected intake system conditions that are indicative of audible noise, at least partially closing a differential pressure (dP) valve to mitigate or eliminate the intake system conditions and the corresponding audible noise, wherein the MAF sensor is disposed in the intake system upstream from the dP valve.

A diffuser may extend radially outward from the chamber and may receive gas from the compressor wheel. An inlet may be provided to the compressor body, which may receive a supply of exhaust gas. An EGR distribution cavity may be defined within the compressor body and may extend around the shaft. An EGR inlet channel may extend into the bearing housing from the inlet to the EGR distribution cavity. An EGR passage may extend from the EGR distribution cavity to the diffuser.

摘要: An engine cooling device includes: a flow path switching unit provided between an engine and an EGR cooler and the radiator and between the engine and the EGR cooler and a pump. The flow path switching unit includes a first valve that allows a cooling water to flow through a first bypass flow path extending toward the pump when a temperature of the cooling water is lower than a first temperature and that allows the cooling water to flow through a radiator connection flow path, a second valve that allows the cooling water to flow through the first bypass flow path when the temperature of the cooling water is less than a second temperature that is higher than the first temperature, and allows the cooling water to flow through the radiator connection flow path when the temperature of the cooling water is equal to or higher than the second temperature.

摘要: A gas-liquid separator includes an inlet pipe and an inner pipe. The inlet pipe receives a swirling flow generating ribbon, and includes an exhaust port through which a separated gas flows out and a drain port through which a separated liquid flows out. The outer diameter of the inner pipe is smaller than the inner diameter of the inlet pipe. An end of the inner pipe is inserted into the exhaust port and is open at a location downstream of the swirling flow generating ribbon. A terminal end of the swirling flow generating ribbon includes a first terminal edge and a second terminal edge. The first and second terminal edges connect a first terminal end point, a second terminal end point, and a middle terminal end point.
