The holder includes a first holding portion constructed to hold the contact base such that the first holding portion is in contact with one surface of the contact base, the surface being opposite an other surface of the contact base from which the movable contact upstands, a second holding portion constructed to hold the contact base such that the second holding portion is in contact with the other surface of the contact base at a distal end of the contact base with reference to the contact body, and a disengagement-prevention portion provided at a proximal end of the contact base with reference to the contact body, on the one side of the contact base, and spaced away from the contact base, and constructed to prevent the movable contact from being detached from the holder.

摘要： An apparatus is provided that includes first, second and third switches, the first and second of which are in line between an appliance and terminals of the appliance that are connectable to a power source. The first switched is configured to open and close based on closing and opening of a door of the appliance, and the second switch is configured to open and close based on the mode of the appliance. Thus, the appliance may be connected to the power source when the first switch or the second switch is closed, and disconnected from the power source when both the first switch and the second switch are open. The third switch, which includes a sensor, is configured to control the second switch to close upon actuation in response to a detection proximate the appliance, where actuation of the third switch may cause the appliance to enter an operational mode.

摘要： This apparatus incorporates an electric motor disconnecting safety switch within the motor's electrical terminal housing. This results in a single, compact device directly mounted to the electric motor body which is used for the safety disconnect as well as the termination point for the incoming power leads and the motor wire taps. The apparatus may be employed as a disconnecting device for single phase and three phase alternating current motors as well as various configurations of direct current motors. The apparatus further includes a simple and economical adapter plate mounting configuration which accommodates the device to a multiplicity of motor frames. This apparatus is used in three embodiments: the first being a rotary tumbler switching device with an external rotary hand operator; the second device being a draw-out disconnecting means; the third device including an integral motor starter which provides both disconnecting and motor controlling functions.

摘要： A wash/wiper switch control assembly having an integrally formed wash/wiper contact member. The wash/wiper contact member includes a plurality of wiper contact arms which are integrally formed with a central body portion and a wash contact arm which is also integrally formed with the central body portion. The wash/wiper contact member is secured to an actuator member via conventional staking techniques. By manufacturing the wash/wiper contact member as a single component, the overall cost of manufacturing a wash/wiper switch control assembly is reduced. The complexity of manufacturing the wash/wiper contact member is also reduced while the reliability is improved since only a single component part need be secured to the actuator member versus prior art arrangements in which a wash contact and a separate wiper contact are secured to separate component parts of a wash/wiper switch control assembly.

摘要： The housing has a cylindrical cavity and central bore in the bottom wall for rotatably receiving a post on the cylindrical control member and the terminals have upper ends defining circumaxially spaced fixed contacts. A tubular conductor surrounds the post and is connected to one such fixed contact to provide a common contact adjacent all of the other fixed terminals. A ball is biased downwardly into contact with the common contact and selectively with the fixed contacts. The ball is provided in a recess of the rotary control member and moves over protuberances in the bottom wall of the housing to selectively connect the common contact with the individual fixed contacts.
