摘要: A shielding device is provided for protecting wires, cables and the like from rays, heat and the like, in a wire harness manufacturing assembly. The shielding device comprises at least one wire-covering member, such as a tube through which the wire extends. The tube is adapted to be displaced between a wire-revealing position and a wire-concealing position, wherein in the former position, the tube allows the wire to be exposed to the rays, whereas in the latter position, the tube is in a ray-exposure area and at least partly shields the wire from the rays. Typically there are two aligned tubes slidably displaceable towards and away from each other so as to respectively assume the wire-concealing and wire-revealing positions. A compressed air source, in fluid communication with an inside of the tubes, cools the wire when in the wire-concealing position.

摘要: The invention is directed to a fluid cooled electrical conductor assembly. The fluid cooled electrical conductor assembly includes a terminal having an open end and a fluid passage in communication with the open end. A sleeve is at least partially received within the open end of the terminal. The sleeve is metallurgically bonded to the terminal, such as by solder. The sleeve has a flared end disposed around an electrical conductor and a distal end disposed adjacent to an end of the conductor. The sleeve has a longitudinally extending groove which is in communication with the fluid passage in the terminal. A casing is connected to the terminal and surrounds the conductor to thereby define a fluid passageway at a periphery of the conductor. During manufacture, a single sleeve is swedged onto an electrical conductor and subsequently cut in half to define two substantially identical sleeves which may be inserted into respective terminals.

摘要: A transmission cable system that incorporates cooling channels that encircles electrical conductors with coolant. The transmission cable system also provides for breach or leak detection. More specifically, the transmission cable system maybe used with an inductive charging system that transfers electric power from a power source to batteries of an electric vehicle. The cable system includes a cooling system for storing, cooling, and pumping coolant, and a pressure sensitive switch for determining the pressure in the cooling system and for providing an output signal indicative of a drop in sensed pressure. A controller is coupled to the pressure sensitive switch that is responsive to the output signal from the switch for shutting down the inductive charging system in the event of a drop in sensed pressure. The transmission cable is electrically coupled between the power source and the electric vehicle for coupling electrical power to the batteries. The transmission cable is also coupled between the cooling system and the inductive charging system and includes a plurality of coolant channels that permit the flow of coolant between the cooling system and the inductive charging system that cools the transmission cable when transferring electrical power.

摘要: The present disclosure improves heat dissipation performance. An electrical junction box (A) includes: a box main body (10) constructed by assembling a side wall member (14) to an outer surface of a base member (13); and a busbar (12) housed in a busbar housing chamber (44) of the side wall member (14), and a heat dissipation space (72) that brings the busbar housing chamber (44) into communication with the outside of the box main body (10) is formed between the base member (13) and the side wall member (14). Heat in the busbar housing chamber (44) passes through the heat dissipation space (72) and is thus dissipated to the outside of the box main body (10).
