摘要: An electronic system dynamically creates video based on a structured document by associating video clips with items in a structured document includes a server that is connected to a user terminal. The user terminal sends to the server, as a selected item, at least one item in a structured document selected by the user. The server receives the item sent by the user terminal, identifies the item in the structured document selected by the user, identifies at least one dependent item having a dependent relationship with the selected item, dynamically creates a video on the basis of at least one video clip associated with each identified item and at least one video clip associated with each identified dependent item, and sends the video for playback on the user terminal.

摘要: In a reproduction technique, a video stream is any of a hybrid stream quantized based on a hybrid optical-electro transfer function (OETF), a High Dynamic Range (HDR) stream quantized based on a non-hybrid OETF, or a Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) stream quantized based on a non-hybrid OETF. Attribute information is received which indicates whether a display apparatus is configured to display at least one of the HDR stream or the SDR stream. Any one of the hybrid stream, the HDR stream, or the SDR stream is transmitted to the display apparatus, or to a reproduction apparatus to which the display apparatus is connected, based on the attribute information.

摘要: In one aspect, an example method includes (i) providing, by a playback device, replacement media content for display; (ii) determining, by the playback device, that a remote control transmitted to the playback device an instruction configured to cause a modification to operation of the playback device while the playback device displays the replacement media content; (iii) determining, by the playback device based on the instruction, an overlay that the playback device is configured to provide for display in conjunction with the modification; (iv) determining, by the playback device, a region within a display of the playback device corresponding to the overlay; and (v) modifying, by the playback device, a transparency of the region such that the overlay is visible through the replacement media content when the playback device provides the overlay for display.

摘要: A display system includes a conversion apparatus converting video luminance including a luminance value in a first luminance range and a display apparatus connected thereto and displaying the video. The conversion apparatus includes a first acquisition unit, a first luminance converter, a second luminance converter, a quantization converter, and an output unit outputting a third luminance signal to the display apparatus. The display apparatus includes: a second acquisition unit acquiring the third luminance signal and setting information indicating display settings recommended to the display apparatus in display of the video; a display setting unit setting the display apparatus, using the setting information; a third luminance converter converting a third code value indicated by the third luminance signal into a second luminance value compatible with a second luminance range, using the setting information; and a display controller displaying the video on the display apparatus based on the second luminance value.

The method includes analyzing the text input to determine text characteristics and analyzing a musical input corresponding to the musical input selection to determine musical characteristics. Based on the text characteristic and the musical characteristic, the method includes correlating the text input with the musical input to generate a synthesizer input, and sending the synthesizer input to a voice synthesizer. The method includes receiving a vocal rendering of the text input from the voice synthesizer and generating a musical message from the vocal rendering and the musical input. The method includes generating a video element based on a video input, incorporating the video element into the musical message, and outputting the musical message including the video element.

摘要: Methods and systems for providing content creation and content publishing in a controlled environment are disclosed herein. A media management device receives an audio track including lyrical content. Further, the media management device performs speech recognition analysis on the audio track to determine lyrical text corresponding to the lyrical content. Additionally, the media management device determines whether the audio track contains prohibited content based on comparing the lyrical text to a blacklist of prohibited information. When the audio track does not include prohibited content, the media management device publishes the audio track to a media library accessible to devices within the controlled environment.

摘要: A video distribution system transfers a formatted video signal (20) having elementary streams representing audiovisual content to be rendered in a selected combination and stream information indicative of selectable elementary streams. The formatted video signal represents extended video having an extended range (HDR) of brightness and/or color. A video device (21) processes input video to provide video processing metadata representing a conversion between standard video and the extended video. The formatted video signal comprises a primary video elementary stream representing standard or extended video, a video processing elementary stream not comprising audiovisual content but comprising video processing metadata representing a conversion between standard and extended video or vice versa, and extended stream information comprising an entry indicative of the video processing elementary stream. Advantageously a video player (22), for example a BD player, is enabled to render both extended and standard video based on the extended stream information and the video processing elementary stream.
