摘要: A video display system includes: a tone mapping processor; a display; and a metadata processor that generates first dynamic metadata that indicates a maximum luminance that is constant over a plurality of time intervals by using static metadata. The video display system switches between: a first operation of (i) generating the first dynamic metadata by using the static metadata, performed by the metadata processor and (ii) performing the tone mapping process by using the first dynamic metadata, performed by the tone mapping processor; and a second operation of performing the tone mapping process by using second dynamic metadata in which the maximum luminance varies over the plurality of time intervals, performed by the tone mapping processor.

摘要: A video processing system includes: an acquirer that acquires video data including a main video; a format acquirer that acquires a display format that indicates a luminance dynamic range format displayable by a video display apparatus; a generator that generates first characteristics information that indicates first dynamic luminance characteristics that correspond to the display format by using the video data when a luminance dynamic range format of the main video indicated by the video data is different from the display format, the first dynamic luminance characteristics being dynamic luminance characteristics indicating a time-dependent change in luminance characteristics of the main video; and a video transmitter that outputs the first characteristics information generated by the generator.

摘要: A video display system includes: a tone mapping processor that performs a tone mapping process of converting a luminance of a video by using conversion characteristics according to a maximum luminance of the video; and a display that displays the video that has undergone the tone mapping process. The tone mapping processor switches between a first tone mapping process of dynamically changing the conversion characteristics according to a time-depend change in the maximum luminance of the video and a second tone mapping process that is performed using constant conversion characteristics irrespective of the time-depend change in the maximum luminance of the video. When the tone mapping process used is switched from the second tone mapping process to the first tone mapping process, the conversion characteristics used is changed gradually or stepwise from the constant conversion characteristics to dynamically changing conversion characteristics over a plurality of frames.

摘要: A video display apparatus includes: a video receiver that acquires video data including a main video; a generator that generates first characteristics information that indicates first dynamic luminance characteristics by using the video data when a luminance dynamic range format of the main video indicated by the video data is different from a display format that indicates a luminance dynamic range format displayable by the video display apparatus, the first dynamic luminance characteristics being dynamic luminance characteristics indicating a time-dependent change in luminance characteristics of the main video and correspond to the display format; a tone mapping processor that performs a tone mapping process of converting a luminance of the main video based on conversion characteristics according to the first dynamic luminance characteristics indicated by the first characteristics information generated by the generator; and a display that displays the main video that has undergone the tone mapping process.

The tone mapping processor switches between: a first operation of performing the tone mapping process by using first dynamic metadata that indicates the maximum luminance that is constant over the plurality of time intervals, the first dynamic metadata being generated by using static metadata that indicates a maximum luminance of the video in the predetermined period; and a second operation of performing the tone mapping process by using second dynamic metadata in which the maximum luminance varies over the plurality of time intervals.

摘要: An information processing apparatus includes: a speech obtainer which obtains speech of a user; a first controller which, when the first controller recognizes that the speech obtained by the speech obtainer is a first activation word, outputs a speech signal corresponding to the first activation word; and a second controller. In the first speech transmission process in which the speech signal of the speech obtained by speech obtainer is transmitted to the VPA cloud server, the first controller determines whether to output a speech signal corresponding to a second activation word to the second controller based on a predetermined priority level when the first controller recognizes that the speech obtained by the speech obtainer indicates the second activation word for causing the second controller to start a second speech transmission process.

摘要: A switching power supply apparatus of the present disclosure is a device connection state detection circuit that detects a connection state in a load device connection terminal in a power supply system having the load device connection terminal. The device connection state detection circuit includes a transformer, a switching element, a pulse generator, and a waveform detection circuit. The waveform detection circuit detects a voltage or a current generated in a primary winding wire or a secondary winding wire of the transformer in accordance with operation of a pulse signal, compares the detected voltage or current with a preset reference value, and outputs an output signal in accordance with a comparison result, to an OFF terminal.
