摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for adjusting the transmission power of an unmanned aerial vehicle are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of determining, by an unmanned aerial vehicle that includes a radio transceiver, an altitude of the unmanned aerial vehicle and a distance between the unmanned aerial vehicle and a base station. The actions further include, based on the altitude of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the distance between the unmanned aerial vehicle and the base station, determining, by an unmanned aerial vehicle, a transmission power level for the radio transceiver. The actions further include communicating, by the unmanned aerial vehicle, with the base station using the radio transceiver operating at the transmission power level.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for managing transmissions using multiple component carriers (CCs) in which transmissions using one or more of the CCs may span less than a full transmission time of a slot or other transmission time interval. A UE may signal a capability to transmit such transmissions, and one or more capabilities related to carrier aggregation that may be used by a base station for scheduling of transmissions on different CCs. In the event that overlapping transmissions on two or more CCs exceed a maximum power threshold, various techniques for dropping at least a portion of one or more transmissions of one or more CCs are described.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for handling uplink grants that have associated uplink transmission that may exceed exposure limits. Exposure limits may be based on maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limits of millimeter wave transmissions and may be determined at a user equipment (UE) and provided to a base station. If the UE receives an uplink grant for a transmission in which an associated uplink transmission would exceed the exposure limits, the UE may drop the uplink transmission prior to forming a transport block, transmit control signaling to the base station to indicate the exposure limits at the UE, or combinations thereof.

The method can also comprise implementing, by the mobile device, a first instruction related to a power setting and a second instruction related to an operating parameter. The first instruction and the second instruction can be received from the network device and can be based on the device type of the mobile device and the distance measurement of the mobile device.

摘要: A method of operating a wireless communication device in a wireless communication network is disclosed. The wireless communication device transitions between a plurality of modes, wherein the plurality of modes further includes a sleep mode, wherein the wireless communication device does not listen for downlink data transmissions, and the plurality of modes further includes an active mode, wherein the wireless communication device listens for downlink data transmissions. While the wireless communication device is operating in the active mode, it receives control signalling from a transmitter to adjust a length of time for transitioning between a first mode among the plurality of modes and a second mode among the plurality of modes based on one or more sleep rules. The wireless communication device transitions from the first mode to the second mode based, at least in part, on the adjusted length of time.

One apparatus includes a processor coupled to a memory and a transceiver, where the processor is configured to identify a first pending transmission corresponding to a non-supplementary uplink carrier; identify a second pending transmission corresponding to a supplementary uplink carrier, wherein the first and second pending transmissions at least partially overlap in time; prioritize power allocation to the non-supplementary uplink carrier in response to the non-supplementary uplink carrier being configured to transmit a PUCCH; prioritize power allocation to the supplementary uplink carrier in response to the supplementary uplink carrier being configured to transmit the PUCCH; and prioritize power allocation to the non-supplementary uplink carrier in response to neither the supplementary uplink carrier nor the non-supplementary uplink carrier being configured to transmit the PUCCH.

Examples may include a receiving wireless device located in a first geographic zone receiving multiple signals from one or more transmitting wireless devices. The receiving wireless device may determine based on the received signals that the one or more transmitting devices are located in a second geographic zone. The receiving wireless device may determine configured transmit power information for each of the signals received from the transmitting wireless devices located in the second geographic zone. The receiving wireless device may estimate a path loss of wireless communications between the first geographic zone and the second geographic zone based on the configured transmit powers received in the signals. The receiving wireless device may communicate within the second geographic location based on the estimated path loss between the first geographic region and the second geographic region.
