    Abstract: Various embodiments provide for encoding and decoding data channel information with polar codes where the frozen bits of the information block can be set to a scrambling identifier based on the device ID, cell ID, or some other unique identifier instead of being set to null. The frozen bits can be identified based on the type of polar code being used, and while the non-frozen bits can be coded with the data link data, the frozen bits can be coded with the scrambling identifier. In an example where there are more frozen bits than bits in the scrambling identifier, the most reliable of the frozen bits can be coded with the scrambling identifier. In another example, the frozen bits can be set to the CRC bits, which can then be masked by the scrambling identifier.

    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, generating metadata associated with a second portion of the first media content, and providing the first media content and the metadata to a media processor that presents the first portion of the first media content. The media processor identifies a media content type associated with the second portion of the first media content according to the metadata. Additional embodiments can include providing the second media content to the media processor. The media processor terminates presentation of the first media content prior to presentation of the second portion of the first media content and presents the second media content during a broadcast of the second portion of the first media content. Further, the media processor terminates presentation of the second media content, and presents the third portion of the first media content from the first broadcast channel. Other embodiments are disclosed.

    Abstract: Generating a persona key based on at least internet protocol session information associated with a user equipment and user data associated with the user equipment is disclosed. The disclosed subject matter can enable communication of the persona key to a capturing device to enable a portion of information from a user profile correlated to the persona key to be communicated to a receiving device. In some embodiments, the persona key can further be based on time, date, location, user input, etc. The persona key can be a dynamic representation of identification that can be more secure than conventional static representations. Additionally, the persona key can be communicated by optical, audio, or electromagnetic techniques that can avoid a user having to speak an account number, password, username, etc., to provide access to the portion of the information from the user profile.

    Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards adapting the demodulation reference signal sent in a wireless resource data block based on channel estimation performance. In general, if the demodulation reference signal received was not successfully able to be used to demodulate the resource data block, the demodulation reference signal density can be increased up to a maximum density, which costs resource elements but improves the channel estimation accuracy. If the demodulation reference signal received was able to be used to demodulate the resource data block, the demodulation reference signal density can be decreased down to minimum density, which saves resource elements for data. The network device can use HARQ ACK/NACK data (e.g., a current count or counted over a time period) to determine channel estimation performance, and/or the user equipment can recommend a demodulation reference signal density change.

    Abstract: A system for designing and executing control loops in a cloud environment includes a control platform implemented in the cloud environment having a data collection, analytics and events module, a policy module and an application controller module. The system includes a business process management application coupled to the control platform having a control loop designer module for designing a control loop template and a workflow engine for distributing the control loop template. The business process management application is coupled to the data collection analytics and events module of the control platform as well as the policy module in the application controller module to control platform. The control loop is activated by the control platform.
