The methods and systems perform the steps of receiving calibration data from a camera of a user device, the calibration data comprising a first reference point associated with the gaming environment, a second reference point associated with the gaming environment, and sensor data associated with the user device; computing a camera projection based on the first reference point, the second reference point, and the sensor data obtained from the user device; receiving an input video of the gaming environment, wherein the input video is captured using the camera, and wherein frames of the input video comprise at least one player in the gaming environment; identifying an image location of the player by performing a computer vision algorithm on the input video; and determining a real-world location of the player based on the image location and the camera projection.

Methods and systems of creating and ordering a photobook via a display of a space constrained mobile device are disclosed. A photobook is produced by dragging and dropping of photos, pages, or spreads, thus creating user-desired pairing arrangements of photos, pages, or spreads. In one embodiment, a method comprises selecting photos via a touch interface of a mobile device, creating a page-preview of a photobook at the touch interface, providing book customization options by using dragging and dropping features, and creating a book-preview of said photobook after said book customization options have been performed, thereby displaying a virtual manifestation of a printable and deliverable book. The invention reduces friction points to purchase, and increases user satisfaction with the photobook creation and customization process.

Disclosed are methods and systems for monitoring and correcting sitting posture of a user and for discouraging sedentary behavior. The system comprises a processor, a portable seat cover with embedded pressure sensors and an angle sensor, a notification device, and a non-transitory storage medium for storing program code. The program code, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to initiate an idleness timer to count how long the user has been sitting, monitor the user's sitting posture by receiving real-time sensor measurements; identify a sitting posture by applying a posture identification rule, generate a posture correction notification through the notification device if the identified sitting posture is not ergonomically correct, determine whether a sedentary threshold has been reached and generate a stand notification if the sedentary threshold has been reached. Embodiments of the present invention help improve sitting posture and reduce sedentary behavior to minimize associated adverse health effects.

A mobile system and method that reform flare gas, methane, or natural gas, using air without steam, to directly produce methanol, a clean burning gasoline blend, component, and/or substitute are disclosed. The system first reforms the air-methane mixture at ambient atmospheric pressure, then compresses the resulting CO-hydrogen-nitrogen gas mixture to 600 psi, and feeds it through a methanol reactor which reacts the gas mixture directly into methanol. The nitrogen is returned by the system back to the atmosphere. Methanol is a clean burning gasoline substitute, and can be used to displace significantly costlier and dirtier petroleum-based fuel, while solving a critical problem with flaring. For example, the over 120 billion cubic feet per year that was flared in North Dakota in 2014 could be converted into over 6 million tons of methanol.

Next, receiving game metadata of a source game play of the source game, configuring a local game play according to the received game metadata, recording a video of the local game play using a second subset of virtual cameras, wherein the second subset of virtual cameras is not equal to the first subset of virtual cameras, and generating a spherical video from the recorded game environment and the recorded local game play. The present invention aids the mass adoption of VR technology by easily generating VR content from existing computer games.

Methods and systems for processing computer game videos for virtual reality replay are disclosed. The method, when executed by a processor, comprises first receiving a video recorded using a virtual camera array during a game play of a source computer game. Next, upscaling the received video to a higher resolution, and interpolating neighboring video frames of the upscaled video for insertion into the upscaled video at a server. Finally, generating a spherical video from the interpolated video for replay in a virtual reality environment. The virtual camera array includes multiple virtual cameras each facing a different direction, and the video is recorded at a frame rate and a resolution lower than those of the source computer game. The spherical videos are provided on a video sharing platform. The present invention solves the chicken-and-egg problem of mass adoption of virtual reality technology by easily generating VR content from existing computer games.

The present invention relates to methods and systems for producing, previewing and publishing a video press release (“VPR”) over an electronic network. A video press release comprises multimedia information. A software transcoder that performs the function of removing incompatibilities between video file formats and text document file formats for producing, previewing and publishing a VPR is implemented. The present invention assures multimedia compatibility of a VPR across video file formats, web browser formats, computer operating systems, and text file formats by transcoding a video file, as well as compressing, resizing and juxtaposing/transposing the transcoded video file along with a text presentation received from a text file, and presenting the so-produced VPR to Internet audience. The invention operates with a webpage of a secure Internet website so that a single individual for a public or private company or other organizations may generate a video press release instantly and efficiently by an accurate, efficient, and time-sensitive method.
