摘要: An array substrate (100a) includes a transparent substrate (304), a first insulation layer (306) and a pixel electrode (103). The transparent substrate (304) includes a display region (DR) that displays an image, a peripheral region (PR) having a driving circuit (101) for displaying an image through the display region, and a sealine region (SLR) that surrounds the display region (DR) to define the display region and the peripheral region (PR). The first insulation layer (306) is formed over the transparent substrate (304), and the first insulation layer (306) has an opening window (301) in the sealine region (SLR). The pixel electrode (103) is formed on the first insulation layer (306) of the display region (DR). The bonding between a color filter substrate (401) and an array substrate (100a) is improved. Furthermore, liquid crystal material is completely filled into between the color filter substrate and the array substrate.

摘要: A method for adjusting an amount of liquid crystal in a liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes injecting a liquid crystal into a liquid crystal receiving space. The liquid crystal receiving space is disposed between a first substrate, a second substrate that faces the first substrate, and a sealing member interposed between the first and second substrates. The method for adjusting an amount of liquid crystal in a liquid crystal display (LCD) device further includes reducing a thickness of the sealing member at a predetermined portion of the sealing member to form a repair region, and pressurizing the liquid crystal to break the sealing member at the repair region to discharge some of the liquid crystal from the liquid crystal receiving space, so as to adjust the amount of the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal receiving space. The method for adjusting an amount of liquid crystal in a liquid crystal display (LCD) device also includes resealing the broken repair region of the sealing member.

摘要: Apparatus and method for creating a preview image of an object is provided. The apparatus includes an object type detecting unit for detecting an object to be previewed for determining whether the type of the object is text, graphics, and image, a color matching unit for converting a color signal of the detected object into an image forming color signal by using a color profile corresponding to the detected object according to the detection result of the object type detecting unit, and a preview image creating unit for creating and displaying a preview image for the object converted into the image forming color signal. Therefore, because the preview image is displayed on a monitor according to the type of object (text, graphics, or image), a user can predict the image forming result more accurately. Further, because the colors of objects can be adjusted, a printout with desired color characteristics can be obtained.

摘要: A sulfur-containing mesoporous carbon that has mesopores with an average diameter of 2 to 10 nm, a method of preparing the same, a catalyst containing the mesoporous carbon as a catalyst support, and a fuel cell using the catalyst in which the sulfur-containing mesoporous carbon has a good affinity for and adhesion to catalyst particles so as to strongly support the catalyst particles due to the sulfur atoms substituting for carbons in an OMC carbon skeleton structure. The growth of metal catalyst particles is prevented when heat-treating the metal catalyst particles. The catalyst using the sulfur-containing mesoporous carbon can be applied to a fuel cell to prevent a reduction in catalytic activity due to increased particle size by an accumulation of catalyst particles. The catalyst containing the sulfur-containing mesoporous carbon as a catalyst support can be used to manufacture a fuel cell having an improved performance.
