摘要: A method for manufacturing a disk for a belt-driven continuously-variable-speed drive of the type which includes a metal belt disposed in engagement between mutually facing sheave surfaces which form a V-groove, including the steps of machining each sheave surface with a numerical control lathe to form therein a spiral groove that is centered about the center of the pulley and has a surface roughness within the range of 0.8-0.4 microns, and thereafter super finishing the sheave surfaces to produce residual stress therein.

摘要: A document filing apparatus is provided with a main unit for outputting parallel bit data, and a display device coupled to the main unit through an interface cable having a plurality of bit transmission lines. The display device comprises a multiplier circuit for multiplying the frequency of a clock pulse at a predetermined frequency, a parallel-in/serial-out shift register for receiving an image signal obtained by finely scanning a document, via the interface cable, as parallel image data, and for converting the parallel image data into serial image data in synchronism with a multiplied clock pulse signal from the multiplifer circuit, and cathode-ray tube for displaying image data obtained from the shift register as an image.

摘要: A concealable wiper apparatus for a vehicle has a wiper assembly disposed in such a manner that the wiper assembly can be accommodated in an accommodating chamber provided inside the body of the vehicle and in the vicinity of a window glass. The wiper assembly is vertically moved between an accommodated position at which it is accommodated in the accommodating chamber and a raised position at which the wiper assembly wipes the window glass. In addition, a wiper arm which supports a wiper blade that wipes the window glass is adapted to be capable of expansion and contraction. Accordingly, when the wiper is not used, the wiper apparatus is accommodated in the accommodating chamber, so that it is possible to minimize the air resistance to the vehicle and reduce the size of the accommodating chamber.

摘要: A transparent film, the back-face of which has excellent resistance to scratch and printability, and a surface protection film which has such a transparent film are provided. A transparent film 10 has a substrate layer 12 formed of a transparent resin material, and a back-face layer 14 with a thickness of 1 μm or less provided on a first face 12A thereof. A percent change in coefficient of friction Δμ is less than 10% for the transparent film 10 when the percent change is determined from a coefficient of friction μ50 of the back-face layer after being conserved at 50° C. and 15% RH for three days and a coefficient of friction μ80 of the back-face layer after being conserved at 80° C. and 80% RH for three days, with an absolute value of difference between the two coefficients of friction |μ80−μ50| being divided by the smaller value of the two coefficients of friction.
