Abstract: Systems and methods for dispensing a product are provided. A plurality of product ingredients are associated with a product dispenser that is operable to form a plurality of selectable products from the plurality of products ingredients. Input for a selected product is received and a recipe that defines the ratio of product ingredients for forming the selected product is identified. The dispense of each of the respective product ingredients is commenced based at least in part on the identified recipe, and the dispense of each of the respective product ingredients is independently monitored during the dispense of the selected product.

Abstract: A machine and process for providing beverages may include an inventory dispensing apparatus. An input/output (I/O) unit may be configured to communicate data over a communications network to which the I/O unit is in communication. A processing unit may be configured to determine remaining inventory being dispensed by the inventory dispensing machine. A non-transitory memory unit may be in communication with the processing unit, and be configured to store data representative of the remaining inventory. A user interface may be in communication with the processing unit, and be inclusive of an electronic display. At least one other inventory dispensing machine may be in communication with the communications network. The processing unit may be further configured to receive remaining inventory data from the at least one other inventory dispensing machine, store the remaining inventory data from the at least one other inventory dispensing machine on the non-transitory memory unit, and display the remaining inventory data.

Abstract: The present application thus provides a beverage dispensing system for combining a macro-ingredient flow and a carbonated water flow. The beverage dispensing system may include a nozzle, a carbonated water source in communication with the nozzle via a carbonated water conduit and a carbonated water recirculation conduit, a macro-ingredient source in communication with the nozzle via a macro-ingredient conduit, and a macro-ingredient pump and an air chamber in communication with the macro-ingredient conduit. The carbonated water recirculation conduit is in communication with the air chamber for heat exchange therewith.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a process for removing acrolein or allyl alcohol from a polyester composition, the process comprising: combining a polyester composition derived from 1,3-propanediol with an amino amide or a primary amine; wherein the amino amide or the primary amine is combined in sufficient quantities to scavenge acrolein or allyl alcohol produced from degradation of the polyester composition. An analysis of reactions between anthranilamide (AAA) and acrolein demonstrates how amines or amino amides can scavenge acrolein from thermally processed poly(trimethylene terephthalate) and poly(trimethylene furan-2,5-dicarboxylate), and thermodynamic models are presented as guidance for matching targets with scavenging agent.
