Abstract:
A washing device for parts of human body being such as anus or private part of female is disclosed. Such washing device is substantially characterized in that the heated-water supply source and the cold-water supply source which are connected with a heated-and-cold-water mixing valve respectively are both installed outside of a toilet chamber or a bathroom and a mixed-water ejecting nozzle is connected to a downstream end of a mixed-water supply passage which has an upper end thereof connected to an outlet opening of the heated-and-cold-water mixing valve. Due to such construction, the washing deivce can extremely improve the heating efficiency so as to enable the considerable energy saving and can unnecessitate the installation of the heat exchangers in the washing device so as to make full use of a narrow space of a toilet chamber or a bathroom.
Abstract:
Novel antibiotics cleomycins represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R is a terminal amino residue of the cleomycin. These compounds are useful as a chemotherapeutic agent for treating cancer and bacterial infections.
Abstract:
A process for preparing bleomycinic acid having a melting point of 228.degree.-230.degree. C. (decomposition) and an analysis of C: 40.80%, H: 5.29%, N: 16.45%, O: 24.78%, S: 4.53%, Cl: 3.37%, and Cu: 4.78% which is characterized by being soluble in water, difficultly soluble in methanol, acetic acid and dimethylsulfoxide, and insoluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, acetone and ether, and which tests positive to Pauly and Ehrlich reactions but tests negative to ninhydrin, Sakaguchi, Dragendorf, Tollens, ferric chloride, Fehling and Molish reactions, and which has a maximum ultraviolet absorption spectrum at 246 m.mu. and 292 m.mu. and which has an infrared absorption spectrum bands at 3350, 1720, 1670, 1640, 1580, 1460, 1365, 1050, 770 (cm.sup.-1), and which can be hydrolyzed to yield 2'-(2-aminoethyl)-2,4'-bithiazole-4-carboxylic acid, L-threonine, 4-amino-3-hydroxy-2-methyl-.eta.-valeric acid, .beta.-hydroxy-histidine, .beta.-amino-.beta.-(4-amino-6-carboxy-5-methylpyrimidine-2-yl)-propionic acid, L-.beta.-amino-alanine, L-gulose and 3-O-carbamoyl-D-mannose, which comprises hydrolyzing bleomycin in the presence of a mycelium mass or enzyme.
Abstract:
By adding a specific amine in culturing under aerobic conditions actinomycetales capable of producing phleomycin group antibiotics, which have been inoculated into a nutrient medium to produce antitumor phleomycin group antibiotics, it is possible to obtain specific phleomycin group antibiotics having a side chain structure corresponding to said amine. The phleomycin group antibiotics thus produced are collected from the culture medium in a conventional way.
Abstract:
A scissors includes a pair of scissors constitution bodies which have a cutting portion and a holding portion formed continuously from the cutting portion. The cutting portion has cutter blades formed on both sides in a width direction. The pair of scissors constitution bodies are rotatably joined by a shaft portion in a base end portion of the cutting portion. The pair of scissors constitution bodies cross and rotate in both directions through the shaft portion. The holding portion includes a handle portion mounted therein so as to be visually unrecognized from the outside, the handle portion projected only in one width direction. A slider provided in the holding portion is operated to form a handle portion.

Abstract:
An object of this invention is to suppress discontinuity of a moving image as much as possible. In order to achieve this object, an image reproduction apparatus includes a buffer which temporarily stores an encoded image data stream, a buffer size setting circuit which sets the storage size of the buffer, a decoding time calculation circuit which calculates a decoding time at which the encoded image data stream is output from the buffer to a decoder, and a control circuit which controls to set the storage size of the buffer to at least twice the maximum value of a storage size required by an encoded data stream reproducible by the image reproduction apparatus, start fetching a second encoded image data stream in the buffer immediately after fetch of a first encoded image data stream in the buffer is ended, and calculate the decoding time of the second image data stream on the basis of a time when fetch of the first image data stream in the buffer is ended.
