摘要: An insert or elongate member divides the lumen of an elongated medical device, such as the working channel of an endoscope, into two or more secondary lumens. The insert or elongate member thereby improves the ability of the lumen of the elongated medical device to accommodate multiple items or uses. The insert or elongate member is capable of securing one item, such as a pull line, such that it does not interfere with another item positioned in the lumen of the elongated medical device or with another use of the lumen of the elongated medical device. In accordance with some embodiments, a ligating instrument comprises a ligating band dispenser, a pull line, and an elongate member having a dividing wall structure or a plurality of lumens, wherein the elongate member divides a working channel of an endoscope into a plurality of secondary lumens.

摘要: A device for treating a tissue includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the capsule releasably coupled to a proximal portion of the device and clip arms, proximal ends of which are slidably received within the channel of the capsule so that the clip arms are movable between an open configuration, and a closed configuration. A core member is coupled to the clip alms, the core member including a proximal portion and a distal portion releasably connected to one another so that, when the core member is subjected to a predetermined load, the proximal and distal portions are separated from one another. An electrically conductive control member is connected to the core member, a proximal end of the connected member connected to a power source for delivering an electrical current to the clip arms.

An example medical device may include a medical device for delivery of a surgical closure member. The medical device includes an elongate tubular member having a proximal end, a distal end and a lumen extending therein. The elongate tubular member is adapted to be delivered through the working channel of an endoscope and the lumen is adapted to receive a surgical closure member. The medical device also includes a tissue support extending from the distal end of the elongate tubular member. The tissue support includes a support surface and the support surface is adapted to support tissue as a surgical closure member engages the tissue thereon.

摘要: According to one aspect, a tissue fastening device may include a handle assembly including at least two actuators. The tissue fastening device may also include a first body extending distally from the handle assembly and defining a longitudinal axis. The tissue fastening device may also include a fastening device coupled to a distal end of the first body. The fastening device may include a longitudinal body including a channel, a cartridge configured to include a plurality of fasteners, a longitudinal channel configured to receive a device for cutting tissue, an anvil rotatable relative to the cartridge, and a fastener actuator. The fastener actuator may be coupled to one actuator of the at least two actuators and configured to move proximally relative to the cartridge to deploy the plurality of fasteners from the cartridge.
