Abstract: In some examples, a device includes processing circuitry configured to receive first and second signals indicative of first and second physiological parameters, respectively, of a patient. The processing circuitry is also configured to determine a first estimate of a limit of autoregulation of the patient based on the first and second signals. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a difference between the first estimate of the limit of autoregulation and one or more other estimates of the limit of autoregulation. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a weighted average of the first estimate and a previous value of the limit of autoregulation based on the difference between the first estimate and the one or more other estimates. The processing circuitry is configured to determine an autoregulation status based on the weighted average and output, for display via the display, an indication of the autoregulation status.

Abstract: A method for monitoring autoregulation includes using a processor for receiving one or more physiological signals, determining a correlation-based measure indicative of the patient's autoregulation based on the one or more physiological signals, calculating a data clustering metric indicative of a distribution of the correlation-based measure within a window of blood pressures, and determining whether the window of blood pressures is within an intact autoregulation zone or an impaired autoregulation zone based at least in part on the data clustering metric.

Abstract: A method for monitoring autoregulation includes receiving a blood pressure signal and a regional oxygen saturation signal from a patient. The method also includes determining one or more pairs of linear correlation lines between the blood pressure signal and the regional oxygen saturation signal based on one or more bins. Each of the one or more bins includes one or more regional oxygen saturation values derived from the regional oxygen saturation signal. The method also includes determining a value indicative of the patient's autoregulation status based on a first pair of linear correlation lines selected from the one or more pairs of linear correlation lines and providing a signal indicative of the patient's autoregulation status to an output device.

Abstract: Implementations described herein disclose a method of classifying oxygen level desaturation events. In one implementation, the method includes receiving input signal sequences, the input signals indicative of a physiological condition of a patient, generating an input sequence of oxygen saturation levels based on the input signal sequence, comparing the input sequence of oxygen saturation levels to a desaturation alarm threshold to determine a desaturation event, generating an input feature matrix based on at least one of the input signal sequences and the input sequence of oxygen saturation levels, and classifying based on the input feature matrix, using a neural network, the desaturation event being a severe desaturation event (SDE) or a non-severe desaturation event (non-SDE).

Abstract: A method and system for performing a depth data processing procedure for obtaining physiological information from depth data. The depth processing procedure comprises obtaining depth data representing depth across a field of view, and deriving at least one signal from said depth data. The method further comprises: obtaining further information from at least one of: the depth data and the at least one signal derived from the depth data; using at least said further information to determine an absence of respiratory motion in the field of view; and setting a flag for the depth data processing procedure or a further procedure based on said determination of the absence of respiratory motion in the field of view.

Abstract: A method including determining, based on an image signal received from a camera focused on at least a portion of a patient, a breathing signal, determining an onset of a desaturation event for the patient and an onset of a bradycardia event for the patient, determining length of a bradycardia-desaturation (BD) period between the onset of the desaturation event for the patient and the onset of the bradycardia event for the patient, in response to determining that the length of the BD period is less than a BD time threshold, determining whether a change in of breathing of the patient within an apnea search period indicates an apnea event, and in response to determining that the change in of breathing of the patient within the apnea search period indicates an apnea event, displaying an occurrence of an apnea-bradycardia-desaturation event.
