摘要: An example device for determining one or more transient decelerations includes a memory configured to store a sensed pulse rate signal indicative of one or more sensed pulse rates and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to determine that an amplitude threshold is crossed by a sensed pulse rate signal indicative of one or more sensed pulse rates. The processing circuitry also is configured to, from a time the amplitude threshold is crossed, determine that a pulse rate returns to within a range of a baseline pulse rate within a number of samples or a time period. The processing circuitry is also configured to, based on the pulse rate returning to within the range of the baseline pulse rate, from the time the amplitude threshold is crossed, within the number of samples or the time period, determine a transient deceleration.

摘要: In some examples, a method includes receiving a signal indicative of a blood pressure of a patient and identifying at least one first portion of the signal comprising a first characteristic of the signal exceeding a first threshold. The method also includes identifying at least one first portion of the signal comprising a second characteristic of the signal exceeding a second threshold, the first characteristic being different than the second characteristic. The method further includes determining a filtered signal indicative of the blood pressure of the patient by excluding the at least one first portion and the at least one second portion from the signal. The method includes determining a set of mean arterial pressure values based on the filtered signal and determining an autoregulation status of the patient based on the set of mean arterial pressure values.

摘要: In some examples, a device includes processing circuitry configured to determine a set of correlation coefficient values for first and second physiological parameters. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a metric of the correlation coefficient values for a first plurality of bins and for a second plurality of bins, wherein each bin of the first plurality has a first bin parameter and each bin of the second plurality of bins has a second bin parameter different than the first bin parameter. The processing circuitry is also configured to determine a composite estimate of a limit of autoregulation of the patient based on the metric for the first plurality of bins and the metric for the second plurality of bins. The processing circuitry is configured to determine an autoregulation status based on the composite estimate and output, for display via the display, an indication of the autoregulation status.

摘要: According to an aspect, a method for determining an augmented vital sign, such as heart rate or heart rate variability, includes obtaining signals from a patient when the patient is both active and inactive. An activity signal is generated from the first signal, and a physiological signal is generated from the second signal. An activity weight factor is calculated from the activity signal, and a vital sign signal is calculated from the physiological signal. A mapping from the activity signal to the vital sign aids the determination of the vital sign through a motion period. The augmented vital sign is a result of the combination of first and second values, including the product of the activity weight factor and an activity derived vital sign, and the product of the vital sign signal and the activity weight factor less than one.

摘要: Various methods and systems for blood pressure monitoring are provided. A device for monitoring blood pressure may include a memory storing instructions for receiving one or more signals representative of one or more patient parameters, wherein at least one of the one or more signals comprises a plethysmography signal. The memory also stores instructions for determining a change in a pulse shape metric of the plethysmography signal and determining a change in a blood pressure signal over a period of time based on the one or more signals. The memory also stores instructions for determining a confidence level of the blood pressure signal based at least in part on a correlation between the change in the blood pressure signal and the change in the pulse shape metric over the period of time. The device also includes a processor configured to execute the instructions.

摘要: Implementations described herein disclose a method of classifying oxygen level desaturation events. In one implementation, the method includes receiving input signal sequences, the input signals indicative of a physiological condition of a patient, generating an input sequence of oxygen saturation levels based on the input signal sequence, comparing the input sequence of oxygen saturation levels to a desaturation alarm threshold to determine a desaturation event, generating an input feature matrix based on at least one of the input signal sequences and the input sequence of oxygen saturation levels, and classifying based on the input feature matrix, using a neural network, the desaturation event being a severe desaturation event (SDE) or a non-severe desaturation event (non-SDE).

摘要: A system for continuous non-invasive blood pressure monitoring may include processing circuitry configured to determine calibration data for a continuous non-invasive blood pressure model at a calibration point, receive, from an oxygen saturation sensing device, a PPG signal at a particular time subsequent to the calibration point, derive values of the set of metrics for the patient from the PPG signal, and determine, using the continuous non-invasive blood pressure model and based at least in part on inputting the calibration data determined at the calibration point, the values of the set of metrics, and an elapsed time at the particular time since the calibration point into the continuous non-invasive blood pressure model, a blood pressure of the patient at the particular time.

摘要: A system for monitoring autoregulation includes an oxygen saturation sensor configured to obtain an oxygen saturation signal indicative of an oxygen saturation of a patient. The system also includes a controller having a processor configured to receive a blood pressure signal indicative of a blood pressure of the patient and the oxygen saturation signal, determine a change in the oxygen saturation signal and a change in the blood pressure signal over a period of time, and provide an indication that the patient's autoregulation is intact if the oxygen saturation changes by more than an oxygen saturation threshold and if the blood pressure changes by less than a blood pressure threshold during the period of time.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of medical monitoring, and in particular non-contact, video-based monitoring of pulse rate, respiration rate, motion, and oxygen saturation. Systems and methods are described for capturing images of a patient, producing intensity signals from the images, filtering those signals to focus on a physiologic component, and measuring a vital sign from the filtered signals.
