    摘要： A disposable insect and/or arthropod trapping device that generates its own attractants of carbon dioxide (CO2), lactic acid and/or ammonia through the chemical reaction of adding a weakly acidic liquid such as vinegar (acetic acid) to solids such as baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), with the optional addition or substitution of urea and/or lactic acid. The liquids are mixed over a period of hours or days onto the solids to generate CO2 in the vicinity of an insect/arthropod trap having an insect-debilitating surface that traps the insects and arthropods when they alight on the surface. The container may have a cylindrical shape with an upper and lower chamber with fly paper attached to the container. The fly paper may be secured to the base and/or top portions of the container, or there may be fly paper like appendages to trap insects attracted by emitted gases.

    摘要： An improved surgical stapler which allows for the multi-directional release of staples includes a stapler body and a driver contained therein. A magazine is connected to the stapler body and includes a staple track for carrying a plurality of staples wherein each of the staples has staple legs. An anvil is associated with the staple track for providing a staple forming surface for forming a staple thereon. A feeder element which is spring biased against the staples is used for feeding each staple from the staple track to the anvil. A trigger is operatively connected to the driver and is movable from a pre-fire position to a firing position for advancing the driver against the anvil for forming the staple against the anvil. A kick-off spring is positioned beneath and substantially parallel to the staple track and the anvil. The kick-off spring has a deflectable tip which is deflected away from the anvil and engages the staple legs of the staple by downwardly camming against the staple legs when the trigger is moved from its pre-fire position to its firing position. The kick-off spring ejects the staples off of and away from the anvil by disengaging the staple legs with the deflectable tip by upwardly camming against the staple legs upon returning of the trigger from the firing position to the pre-fire position.

    摘要： The invention provides a phase change heat storage, light and temperature control building panel comprising a sealed housing having at least two walls transparent to visible light delimiting at least one intermediate space filled with a liquid-solid phase-change heat-storage material, wherein the material is substantially transparent to visible light in solid and in liquid phase, adsorbs heat while melting, releases heat while solidifying and undergoes phase change in a temperature range of about 5.degree.-28.degree.     摘要： A system and method provide rewards or loyalty incentives to card member customers. The system includes an enrolled card member customer database, an enrolled merchant database, a participating merchant offer database and a registered card processor. The enrolled card member customer database includes transaction accounts of card member customers enrolled in a loyalty incentive program. If the purchase qualifies for a rebate credit, the registered card processor provides the rebate credit to an account of the enrolled card member customer. The registered card processor also provides for electronic notification of rewards offers or credit to prepaid cards, in response to purchases conforming to a specific set of merchant criteria. The system provides a coupon-less way for merchants to provide incentive discounts and/or credits to enrolled customers, along with notifying customers of other available incentive offers.
