    摘要: An optical disk suppressing the time required for a startup of a recording/playback apparatus from unduly increasing, even when there is (i) one type of disk where information is recorded on a groove track, and (ii) another type of disk where information is recorded on a land track. Both types of optical disks having a control data area, and a data recording area in which user data is recorded. A code for indicating the groove track or the land track onto which tracking servo control is executed is provided in the control data area of both types of optical disks.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technology for obtaining a large area fiber plate suited for downsizing a radiation imaging apparatus and reducing its cost and excellent of workability in the manufacturing process. A multi-fiber is manufactured by bundling and drawing a plurality of fibers to take a polygonal shape in section so that the multi-fibers can be air-tightly stacked without any air gap, a multi-fiber aggregate is manufactured by bundling and drawing the multi-fibers to take other polygonal shape in section that enables air-tight stacking with no air gap so as to be analogous to or different from the one polygonal shape in section, and there is manufactured a fiber plate configured by air-tightly bonding the multi-fiber aggregates to each other with a bonding agent without the air gap in a state of keeping the one or other polygonal shape in section after being drawn.

    摘要: A gradient index-type optical device produced by the ion exchange process, comprising: a transparent dielectric body having a refractive index distribution, and a refractive index distribution-adjusting portion disposed on at least a part of the transparent dielectric body. Because of the presence of the refractive-index distribution, the ion-exchange speed therethrough is controlled to provide a controlled refractive index distribution in the transparent dielectric body. As a result, a gradient index-type optical device having a large refractive index factor (g value) without substantial increase in aberration.
