    摘要: A mixing chamber for an air-conditioning system including a cylindrical vessel having a plurality of inlet ports provided at an axial end portion for introducing cool air from an air-conditioning unit and warm air from passenger compartments. The vessel is further provided at the other axial end portion with outlet ports. The inlet and outlet ports are oriented in a tangential direction with respect to the vessel to thereby form a spiral air flow in the vessel. The vessel has a water capturing ring located along the inner wall surface of the vessel to prevent film of water on the inner wall surface of the vessel from flowing toward the outlet ports. A water drawing slit is formed in the vessel to open to the inner wall surface at a side of the water capturing ring adjacent to the inlet ports to discharge the water accumulated at this side of the ring.

    摘要: An optical pickup device includes a light source, an optical lens system that converges light beams from the light source onto a recording medium, a photodetector with three divided regions that detects light beams reflected from the recording medium, and a hologram optical element that introduces the reflected light beams from the recording medium into the photodetector. The hologram optical element is divided into two regions, a part of the reflected light beams from the recording medium is diffracted by the first region of the hologram optical element and focused on a division line in the direction of the diffraction of the hologram optical element. The division line divides the photodetector into two regions, the first region and the second region. The other part of the reflected light beams is diffracted by the second region of the hologram optical element and focused on the third region of the photodetector. A difference in the output intensity between the first and second regions of the photodetector results in a focus error signal and the total of the output intensity of the first, second and third regions of the photodetector results in an information signal.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing an inkjet recording cast-coated paper wherein a coating solution containing a pigment and a binder resin is supplied to a base paper, a treatment solution having the function of solidifying the binder resin is supplied to the coating layer while it is still wet in order to solidify the coating layer, and the wet, solidified coating layer is brought into pressure contact with the mirror surface of a heated drum and dried to obtain a cast-coated layer. According to this invention, the treatment solution is supplied by the double pond method wherein the roll is enclosed by the base paper so as to bring the wet coating layer into contact, and ponds of treatment solution are formed both before and after the coating layer comes into contact with the roll.

    摘要: In an optical pickup, a beam splitter is arranged on an optical path between a hologram and a grating. Beam splitter includes a first reflecting surface reflecting part of a beam reflected from a disk, and a second reflecting surface arranged parallel to the first reflecting surface. Part of the beam which is reflected from the disk and passed through hologram is reflected at the first reflecting surface and thereafter reflected by the second reflecting surface of beam splitter, and thereafter directed to optical waveguide device, whereby a signal recorded on the disk is detected (reproduced). The beam which has transmitted through hologram and the first reflecting surface is directed to photodiode and detected as a servo error signal.

The introducing part, the propagating part and the coupling part of the waveguide section are located on the first region.
