摘要： A recording medium carrier system of an image forming apparatus is constituted by independent units as a paper supply cassette, a paper feed unit, a transfer unit, a fixing unit, and a paper ejecting unit. An intermediate transfer unit in the transfer unit is provided with an intermediate transfer belt to which a toner image formed on a photoconductive drum is primarily transferred at a primary transfer position and which secondarily transfers the toner image on a recording medium at a secondary transfer position, and a driving roller for circulating the intermediate transfer belt. The primary transfer position is arranged close to the driving roller.

Also provided is a method of forming an image on a photoresist that includes forming a photoresist over a substrate; applying a topcoat composition, the topcoat composition comprising at least one fluorine-containing polymer and a casting solvent, onto the photoresist; removing the casting solvent of the topcoat composition resulting in the formation of a topcoat material over the photoresist; exposing the photoresist to radiation, the radiation changing a chemical composition of the regions of the photoresist exposed to the radiation, forming exposed and unexposed regions in the photoresist; and removing i) the topcoat material and ii) the exposed regions of the photoresist or the unexposed regions of the photoresist.

摘要： Fluorinated vinyl ethers are provided having the structure of formula (I) the structure of formula (I) wherein at least one of X and Y is a fluorine atom, and L, R1, R2, R3, R4 are as defined herein. Also provided are copolymers prepared by radical polymerization of (I) and a second monomer that may not be fluorinated. The polymers are useful in lithographic photoresist compositions, particularly chemical amplification resists. In a preferred embodiment, the polymers are substantially transparent to deep ultraviolet (DUV) radiation, and are thus useful in DUV lithographic photoresist compositions. A method for using the composition to generate resist images on a substrate is also provided, i.e., in the manufacture of integrated circuits or the like.

In order to achieve the object, a color image display apparatus includes a shutter control circuit that slices color component data subjected to color separation in accordance with a slice level, a light source control circuit that controls a light source corresponding to the color component data, one or plural light sources a converting device that converts light from the light source to surface light source light, a shutter which makes light of a corresponding pixel pass therethrough and cuts off the light and which is made of liquid crystal as a main material, and a timing circuit that generates operation timings for the shutter control circuit and the light source control circuit, in which the shutter control circuit transfers one line of slice data to the shutter sequentially on a slice level basis, the light source control circuit turns on the light source corresponding to the source data, and the shutter makes the light from the light source, which corresponds to the slice data representing gradation of the pixel, pass therethrough and cuts off the light to display an image.
