    摘要: A circuit and method for generating an Error Correcting Code (ECC) based on an adjacent symbol codeword that is formed in two clock phases among other techniques are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus is to comprise one or more logics to: generate a plurality of check bits based on a set of data, receive a codeword from a memory and to generate a syndrome based on the codeword, and to detect whether an error exists based on the syndrome. In another embodiment, a logic may classify the error if it exists. In a further embodiment, a logic may correct the error if it exists. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

The memory module includes first interface circuitry and control logic. The first interface circuitry is configured to receive from the system memory controller a first memory transaction in a first format. The control logic is coupled to the first interface circuitry and configured to convert the first memory transaction into a second memory transaction in a second format for the plurality of memory devices. The second format of the second memory transaction is different than the first format of the first memory transaction.

    摘要: A catheter delivered device to close a septal defect, the device comprising a cylindrical shaft of metal or polymeric material with concentric parallel cuts through the wall of the device which create flattened support struts. The center of the support struts move radially away from the axis in a hinge like fashion in response to the movement of the device's proximal and distal ends toward the center of the device. This movement is reversibly effected through mechanical means. The device can be coated with growth factors, mitogenic factors or other determinants which can improve tissue growth such that tissue ingrowth can occur over a period of time. The catheter itself may be an ultrasonic imaging catheter.

    摘要: Medical tubing having a wall formed of multiple strands bonded together. One method for making the tubing utilizes multiple spools containing polymeric strands disposed about a central mandrel, with the strands aligned with and disposed evenly about the mandrel, with both mandrel and strands entering a die or other bonding device. Adjacent strands are bonded together to form a tube wall, the tube preferably having at least one lumen therethrough. Adjacent strands are lightly bonded in some embodiments and highly bonded in others. Bonding can be accomplished using heat, solvent welding, or adhesive. The strands making up the tube wall can be formed of materials differing between strands. One use of the tubing is for constructing angioplasty catheters.
