摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for enabling a mobile terminal equipped with a camera to store document information. An image of a document picked up by the camera is displayed. In response to a document “RECOGNIZE” key input, a character image is recognized from the displayed document image and the character image is converted into character data. The character data is displayed on the first display area, and SAVE items are displayed on the second display area. A SAVE item is selected from the displayed SAVE items and character data associated with the selected SAVE item is selected, such that the selected SAVE item and the character data associated with the selected SAVE item can be displayed on the third display area. When a “CORRECT” key is input, candidate characters associated with an erroneously recognized character are displayed on the third display area. After the erroneously recognized character is corrected or replaced with a selected candidate character, a result of the correction is displayed on the third display area. When a “CONFIRM” key is input, the SAVE item and character data displayed on the third display area are stored.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for capturing an image in a portable terminal. Upon receiving an image for preview and an image for capture simultaneously by a camera module, the controller simultaneously outputs the image for the preview and the image for the capture to a main controller during a simultaneous output mode. The received image for the preview is displayed and stored for a predetermined time period for a subsequent retrieval, so that when a capture key is pressed to capture a target object, the stored image corresponding to a time point at which the capture key is activated is retrieved and stored.

摘要： A method for generating a combined signal in a mobile terminal equipped with a camera that captures image signals. A captured image signal is coded into a still picture signal based upon a frame size. A received audio signal is coded. An image header containing image pattern information and frame size information is inserted into the still picture signal based upon the frame size. The still picture signal based upon the frame size into which the image header is inserted is combined with the coded audio signal. While the above-described operations are repeated, consecutive still picture signals based upon the frame size are combined with corresponding audio signals. When a recording operation is completed, a combined signal representative of a result of the combining is stored in a moving picture file.
