    摘要: The invention is based on the objective of simplifying the filling of a auxiliary reservoir that provides an additional medium pressure volume for the suction side of a return pump. For this purpose, the invention proposes to utilize a separating piston that is charged on one side by the main cylinder pressure and on the other side by a compression spring. The pressure medium is conveyed from the main reservoir to the auxiliary reservoir by means of two return valves while the separating piston is displaced. Due to the stepped design of the separating piston, only a small volume displacement is required on the side of the main cylinder for supplying a large charge volume to the auxiliary reservoir.

    摘要: An arrangement for controlling the supply of pressurized hydraulic fluid from a master cylinder and from a pressure source into hydraulic circuits leading to wheel brake actuating cylinders includes a valve device including a control piston acted upon by a spring-loaded auxiliary piston in one direction and by the pressure in a return conduit in the opposite direction. Upon brake pedal depression, hydraulic fluid pressure from the pressure source acts on the auxiliary piston in opposition to the spring force so that the auxiliary piston ceases to act on the control piston. Then, as hydraulic fluid is discharged from the brake actuating cylinders during antiskid control action, pressure builds up in the return conduit and propagates to the control piston to move the same into its open position in which it admits pressurized fluid from the pressure source to check valves which are acted upon in opposition to their opening by the tandem master cylinder pressures. Hence, any fluid discharged during the antiskid control operation is replenished through the check valves from the pressure source, rather than from the master cylinder.

    摘要: The brake booster comprises a working piston for activation of a master cylinder piston and a transmitting piston having a greater diameter than the working piston in a tandem relationship with the working piston. A transmission pressure chamber is disposed between adjacent ends of the working piston and the transmission piston and a first valve arrangement is provided to load the transmission pressure chamber with pressure fluid or to relieve this chamber of pressure. A drive or actuating pressure chamber is disposed adjacent the other end of the transmission piston and a second valve arrangement is provided to load the drive pressure chamber with pressure fluid or to relieve this chamber of pressure. The first and second valve arrangements are controlled by the brake pedal and constructed in such a way that when the brake pedal is initially operated the brake pedal and the pistons come to a stop until all idle paths have been travelled.

    摘要: There is presented a method for assembling a tandem master cylinder and a vacuum brake power booster of a hydraulic brake system for automotive vehicles. Air is injected via the pressure connections (19, 36) of the pressure chambers (11, 18) associated with the pistons (2, 3). Simultaneously, the pistons (2, 3) are moved in the direction away from the brake pedal. The pressure increase in the pressure chamber (18) is measured during the movement of the pistons (2, 3) and thus during the movement of the central valve (14) accommodated in the floating piston (3). The air pressure in chamber (18) will rise as soon as the closing member (15) of the central valve (14) has moved to sit on the valve seat (16) and the central valve is closed thereby. A trigger point which determines a measured distance on the abscissa of the diagram is fixed in the curve of the diagram "Pressures as a function of the travel of the central valve", the said curve indicating the pressure increase. This measured distance dictates the number and/or dimensioning of spacing washers (8) which are to be arranged between the pressure element (9) and the push rod piston (2) in order to accomplish a reduction of the lost travel of the central valve (14). The present invention serves to accomplish an elegant method in conformity with the demands of automation for assembling a tandem master cylinder and a vacuum brake power booster, as well as a simultaneous reduction of the lost travel of the second central valve (14).

    摘要: A pressure supply system for the generation of the auxiliary pressure of a hydraulic brake system for motor vehicles comprises an accumulator, a hydraulic pump driven by electromotive force and a pressure switch (1) controlling the turning on and off of the hydraulic pump. The pressure switch (1) includes a switch piston (2) having a piston rod (5) mechanically actuating in a pressure-responsive manner, successively, two or three switches (8,9,10). The pump motor (26), by way of these switches, and by way of a relay, is turned on when a bottom pressure limit value (P.sub.U) is reached, and turned off when the upper pressure limit value (P.sub.O) is reached and exceeded. A holding circuit is connected in the electric circuit, in which are provided the switches (8,9,10) of the pressure switch (1), which holding circuit ensures an abrupt switch-over of the relay into the other switching position when a slow approach of a pressure (p) to the pressure limit values (p.sub.U, P.sub.O) causes fluttering of the relay contacts.

The master cylinder piston (5) is provided as a stepped piston, with the small piston step (14) cooperating with the booster piston (4) traversing an annular chamber (19). When the brakes are applied, the pressure fluid flows from a brake circuit (22, 31) into the annular chamber (19) by way of a first pressure fluid conduit (18, 21) and in which a blocking valve (26) is provided. By way of a second pressure fluid conduit (33, 34, 47, 36) the pressure fluid flows from the annular chamber (19) into an intake reservoir (11) in which a current control valve including a blocking slide (35) is provided. The connection (33) to the annular chamber (19), in the brake releasing position, is closed by the large step (15) of the master cylinder piston (5 ). A defined resetting movement of the master cylinder piston (5), during the skid control, is achieved by blocking the two pressure fluid conduits.

    摘要: To insure that no air bubbles are included in a pump of an anti-locking system, the pump is placed into the master brake conduit, thereby causing it to be scavenged by manual brake operation. Once a brake pressure of about 5 bar is attained, a switch-over valve (28) is switched-over, causing the master brake conduit in the pressure build-up direction to be blocked. Additionally pressure fluid is supplied to the secondary conduit (26) and a pressure opening valve (27). The pressure decrease is effected through the direct conduit (13).
