    摘要: A throttle valve control block in a microcomputer has a processing load judging means for judging a processing load status of the microcomputer, and an AD converting means for converting an analog opening degree detection signal and outputting a digital opening degree detection signal. The AD converting means has a first conversion mode in which the digital conversion is carried out with high conversion precision, and a second conversion mode in which the digital conversion is carried out with conversion precision lower than the first conversion mode. The first and second conversion modes are set to be switchable to each other, and also switched by the process load judging means.

    摘要: Even when a vehicle engine is started after replacement of a throttle actuator or the like without learning a magnetic pole position of a rotor of a brushless motor for driving a throttle valve, engine power can be controlled in a proper manner so that the vehicle can be driven to travel in a safety mode. An air intake amount control apparatus for an engine is equipped with a throttle valve mounted on a rotation shaft in an air intake passage of the engine, a motor having a rotor coupled to the rotation shaft, and a throttle sensor for sensing an opening degree of the throttle valve, so that the throttle valve is controlled by the motor based upon various sorts of engine operating information. The apparatus further includes a rotor magnetic pole position learning unit for driving the motor in a stepwise manner so as to learn a magnetic pole position of the rotor detected by the throttle sensor, a rotor magnetic pole position learned value storing unit for storing therein the rotor magnetic pole position learned value, and a magnetic pole position identifying unit for driving the motor to a predetermined stepwise position so as to identify the magnetic pole position learned value stored in the rotor magnetic pole position learned value storing unit with the magnetic pole position of the motor detected by the throttle sensor.

The power control apparatus includes first and second inverters and a smoothing capacitor disposed between the first and second inverters. In a motor power mode, the first inverter charges the smoothing capacitor with power supplied by an AC power supply, while the second inverter charges, in a motor braking mode, the smoothing capacitor with power regenerated by the motor during a braking operation for returning the regenerated power back to the AC power supply through the first inverter. An reactor is arranged between the AC power supply and the first inverter for reducing harmonic components contained in the current supplied from or back to the AC power supply.

    摘要: A headlamp for motor vehicles in which an inner lens formed with distribution beam control steps can easily be fastened to the front opening of the reflector. Holes, which receive respective protrusions protruding from the lower edge of the inner lens, are formed in the lower surface of the reflector, and cutout portions provided on the front end of the upper surface of the reflector are located further rearward than the protrusions, whereby the inner lens maintains engagement with the front opening of the reflector lens contact faces by its own weight. The upper edge of the inner lens can easily be fastened to the front end of the upper surface.
