    摘要: In order to realize reduction in thickness of a disk device including a turntable and a clamper in which a disk is mounted on the turntable and pressed and clamped by the clamper by reducing height of the clamper, the clamper is constituted with a clamper body integrally formed of synthetic resin, a magnet, and a clamper plate made of a metal magnetic substance. The clamper body has a disc-like clamp section to press the disk, a cylindrical center guide forming a housing space for the magnet in a center thereof, a cylindrical outer ring erected from the clamp section, and locking pieces extending to inward from an upper part of the outer ring so as not to project over an upper end of the outer ring and an upper end of the center guide and being arranged at equal intervals in two or more places. The clamper plate has hooks extending below to engage with the locking pieces respectively.

    摘要: In an optical disk drive having the structure of rotating an optical disk under the alternative control of CAV or CLV, when the optical disk is rotated under the CLV control, the loop gains for at least one of the focus servo system and the tracking servo system for controlling the operation of the pickup of the optical disk drive are adjusted based on angular velocity detected by an angular velocity detector which is also used for rotating the optical disk under the CAV control, and, when the optical disk is rotated under the CAV control, the loop gains for at least one of the focus servo system and the tracking servo system are adjusted based on linear velocity detected by a linear velocity detector which is also used for rotating the optical disk under CLV control. The above structure enables the effective saving of electricity and cost in the optical disk drive.

    摘要: A developing device for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an imaging surface includes a developing electrode disposed opposite to the imaging surface and a control circuit for controlling the potential of the developing electrode. In one form, when the control circuit causes the developing electrode to be electrically floating, the upper limit of the voltage excursion is set at different levels as desired. In another form, the control circuit includes a sensor for sensing the potential of the imaging surface thereby allowing to carry out so-called fixed bias or auto-bias developing modes. In a further form, the mode of developing operation is automatically set depending upon the position of a pressure plate which is to be placed on an original for keeping the original in position during copying process.

    摘要: A disk brake is provided which is free from problems attributed to the obverse-reverse orientation of a cover member as installed. A cylinder portion (21) slidably accommodating a piston is formed from a plate-shaped cover member (43) constituting the bottom thereof and a caliper body main part (46) having an opening (45) that is closed with the cover member (43). The cover member (43) is joined to the caliper body main part (46) to close the opening (45). A projection (60) is provided on one side of the cover member (43) that faces inside the cylinder portion (21), and a blind hole (61) is provided on the other side of the cover member (43). When the cover member (43) has been installed in the normal orientation, the blind hole (61) remains after the outer surface of the bottom of the caliper body has been subjected to face cutting after the installation of the cover member (43).
