摘要: A semiconductor inspection apparatus performs a hybrid inspection process including cell-to-cell inspection, die-to-die inspection and die-to-golden or die-to-database inspection. The apparatus creates a golden image of a reticle complimentary to portions of the reticle that can be inspected by cell-to-cell inspection or die-to-die inspection. Alternatively, the apparatus creates a reduced database complimentary to portions of the reticle that can be inspected by cell-to-cell inspection or die-to-die inspection.

摘要: A method for treating water at a water treatment facility is provided. In one aspect, the water has been circulated through a subsurface formation in a shale oil development area. The subsurface formation may comprise shale that has been spent due to pyrolysis of formation hydrocarbons. The method in one embodiment includes receiving the water at the water treatment facility, and treating the water at the water treatment facility in order to (i) substantially separate oil from the water, (ii) substantially remove organic materials from the water, (iii) substantially reduce hardness and alkalinity of the water, (iv) substantially remove dissolved inorganic solids from the water, and/or (v) substantially remove suspended solids from the water. The method may further includes delivering the water that has been treated at the water treatment facility re-injecting the treated water into the subsurface formation to continue leaching out contaminants from the spent shale.

摘要: A radio frequency transmission device including electronic circuitry. A digital logic circuit is alternate-able from a sleep mode to an active mode after a pre-determined time period, and back to the sleep mode immediately after transmission of a digital signal. The digital signal includes a unique and pre-determined sequence of fixed length pulses routed to a transmission circuit to transmit a radio signal in a specific frequency range. An output display signal from the output circuitry is displayed with an LED. An input circuitry is manually activated. A radio frequency signal is received with a receiver circuitry, sensed to determine if the received signal has a compatible characteristic of an expected signal. The radio frequency signal is converted into a digital form and sent to the microprocessor. Every associated transmitter device is tracked with a counter maintained by a microprocessor. Personnel, belongings and pets can be tracked with this device.

摘要: A system and method for signaling emergency responses. A mobile device receives proximity location information from at least one location identification beacon. A user of the mobile device dials an emergency telephone number when an emergency occurs. Dialing the emergency telephone number enables the proximity location information to be transmitted to an emergency call center. Upon receipt of the proximity location information by the emergency call center, a globally unique identifier within the proximity location information is extracted and mapped to a database to obtain a precise location of the emergency, thereby enabling a dispatcher to better instruct an emergency response team as to the location of the emergency without requiring the user to provide the location.

摘要: A fluid treatment element is adapted for cross flow filtration which includes a fluid treatment pack having first and second lengthwise ends, a fluid treatment layer that may be pleated, a first mesh layer disposed on a first side of the fluid treatment layer and a second mesh layer disposed on the second side of the treatment layer, the element defining a flow path for a process fluid to be treated passing in a lengthwise direction of the fluid treatment element inside the first mesh layer and a flow path for permeate passing through the second mesh layer. The first mesh layer may open onto the first lengthwise end with the second mesh layer including sealant at the first lengthwise end such that fluid can flow through the first lengthwise end into the first mesh layer but not into the second mesh layer. The element may include a core having a blind region in which fluid cannot pass therethrough and at least one regions where fluid can pass through the core.

摘要: A method for operating a graphical user interface determines whether a user-controlled pointer targets an object displayed on a screen. The method also designates an expanded target region in a vicinity of the object in response to determining that the pointer has targeted a location of the object.
