For example, a wireless node may transmit a control indication at a beginning of a timeslot and at an end of a timeslot. A control indication may comprise a resource utilization message that a node generates in an attempt reduce inference at the node that is caused by transmissions by neighboring nodes. A node also may synchronize to a received timeslot of another node based on the position of one or more control indications within the timeslot. Here, each control indication may include information that indicates the position of the control indication within the timeslot.

    摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided that facilitate initiating an intra-closed subscriber group (CSG) handover. Access points in the same or similar CSG can make determinations regarding one or more devices without requiring information from the devices. An access point in a closed access mode can assume a device to which it communicates is a member of the CSG, and can provide such information to a target access point of the same CSG operating in a hybrid access mode, and the hybrid access mode access point can determine to allow member level access to the device. Similarly, where the target access point operates in a closed access mode, a source access point in the same CSG can determine whether to initiate handover of the device to the target access point based at least in part on CSG membership information for the device.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for communicating packets of information from an access terminal to a remote access node assembly by way of a serving access node assembly are described. An inter-route tunneling protocol module which interfaces with a radio link protocol module is used to tunnel route protocol packets. A first radio link protocol stream is associated with an application resident on the access terminal. A second radio link protocol stream is associated with an inter-route tunneling protocol module. Information to be communicated to a remote access node assembly by way of a serving access node assembly is subjected to two different radio link protocol processing operations. A first one of the RLP processing operations corresponds to the remote access node assembly while the second RLP processing operation corresponds to the serving access node assembly.

The first and/or second predetermined thresholds may be associated with various parameters associated with the node, such as latency, throughput, data rate, spectral efficiency, carrier-to-interference ratio, interference-over-thermal level, etc. The RUM may then be transmitted to one or more other nodes to indicate a level of disadvantage experienced by the first node.
