    摘要: Provided is a PLL oscillation circuit that can reduce the variability of modulation sensitivity of a VCO 101 and obtain a desired output amplitude quickly with high precision. An amplitude detector 103 detects an output amplitude of the VCO 101. An amplitude controller 105 controls a current value of a variable current source 109 so as to have an output amplitude of the VCO 101 detected by the amplitude detector 103 to be a desired amplitude. A LPF 108 is connected between the amplitude controller 105 and the variable current source 109. A switch 107 connects or disconnects the LPF 108 between the amplitude controller 105 and the variable current source 109. The amplitude controller 105 is connected to the variable current source 109 through either the LPF 108 or the switching switch 107.

    摘要: A mount damper comprises electrode plates placed on a motor side and a support body side respectively, a control unit for adjusting voltage between the electrode plates, and an electrostrictive polymer member for changing a distance between the electrode plates by the voltage therebetween. The electrostrictive polymer member is also an elastic body sandwiched between the electrode plates and has a hardness changeable with a change in the interelectrode distance. A motor is mounted through this mount damper. The control unit adjusts voltage applied between the electrode plates to a value different from a value causing resonance of the motor and the electrostrictive polymer member, thereby absorbing vibration of the motor during rotation thereof, irrespective of a rotation speed. Thus, the mount damper and the image forming apparatus using it can reliably prevent resonance and absorb vibration constantly even if a device selectively uses plural levels of the rotation speed.

This apparatus has a switch for switching the modulation modes of a PLL circuit between a single-point modulation and a double-point modulation. In a case of a narrow modulation bandwidth, the switch is turned off to cease a second digital baseband signal, thereby causing the PLL circuit to perform the single-point modulation in which only a first digital baseband signal from a frequency division rate generating part is used for the modulation.     摘要: In an image forming machine, an objective model storage device stores parameter data that represent elements of the machine and relationships among such parameters, and parameter membership functions, and fault diagnosis knowledge. A degradation storage device stores a fuzzy qualitative value for a parameter changed by degradation of an element of the machine. Preferably, degradation indicative data are converted into fuzzy qualitative values, and the value of the parameter changed by degradation is represented by a fuzzy qualitative value. The machine includes sensors for sensing functional states thereof, and providing state data representative of such states. The state data sensed by the sensors are converted into fuzzy qualitative values. Then, a fault judgement device determines whether or not a fault exists by comparing the obtained fuzzy qualitative values with the parameter data stored in the objective model storage device. If the fault judgement device determines that a fault exists, a fault diagnosis device performs fault diagnosis by utilizing, as an initial value, the value of the parameter changed by degradation. A specification device specifies fault causes by comparing the result of the diagnosis with the state data which was converted into the fuzzy qualitative values. Then, a repair device operates actuators of the machine to overcome the specified fault.
