    摘要: An oscillator is configured to generate a signal with a frequency sweep, the oscillator having circuitry comprising a set of capacitors, each capacitor of the set of capacitors being switchably connectable in parallel in the circuitry so that the frequency of the signal has an intrinsic dependence on the number of the capacitors connected, a shift register controllable by a clock line and comprising a number of bits, each bit of the number of bits controlling connection of a respective capacitor of the set of capacitors so that the capacitors are connectable or disconnectable in a pre-determined order by shifting, respectively, activation or de-activation bits into the shift register, wherein the shifting is paced by the clock line; and a clock signal generator configured to output a clock signal with a time modulation on the clock line.

    摘要: A dual-mode signal transceiver includes a first transmitter circuit, a second transmitter circuit, and a receiver circuit. The first transmitter circuit is configured to operate in a first mode and configured to process a first input signal according to a first oscillating signal, in order to output a first output signal. The second transmitter circuit is configured to operate in a second mode and configured to process a second input signal according to a second oscillating signal, in order to output a second output signal, wherein a frequency of the second oscillating signal is not an integral multiple of a frequency of the first oscillating signal. The receiver circuit is configured to process an external signal associated with one of the first mode and the second mode according to the first oscillating signal, in order to read data associated with the external signal.

    摘要: A radio frequency (RF) front end chip in a phased array antenna panel for transmitting a modulated circularly-polarized signal is disclosed. The RF front end chip includes an oscillator providing an angular speed modulation signal to a quadrature generation block, the quadrature generation block providing an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal based on the angular speed modulation signal, a first amplifier receiving the in-phase signal and a data signal, and providing a modulated horizontally-polarized signal, and a second amplifier receiving the quadrature signal and the data signal, and providing a modulated vertically-polarized signal, where a modulated circularly-polarized signal is generated based on the modulated horizontally-polarized signal and the modulated vertically-polarized signal. The angular speed modulation signal controls an angular speed of the modulated circularly-polarized signal. The data signal is encoded by the angular speed modulation signal.

The circuit includes only one analog-to-digital converter (ADC) configured to receive from the field device one from the group including a current signal and a voltage signal. The received one signal has frequency shift keying tones (FSK) superimposed thereon, the ADC being configured to extract information from the received one signal and the FSK tones simultaneously. Also included is only one digital-to-analog converter configured to drive an output signal to the field device, the output signal (i) including one from the group including a current signal and a voltage signal and (ii) being summed with an FSK-modulated signal.

    摘要: An apparatus includes a controller configured to be coupled to a system clock that generates a clock signal for a device that generates radiated electromagnetic interference (RE). The controller is also configured to determine a frequency span associated with the system clock, where the frequency span has a minimum frequency and a maximum frequency. The controller is further configured to determine a sequence of frequency steps, where each frequency step is associated with a distinct frequency within the frequency span. In addition, the controller is configured to control the system clock to change a frequency of the clock signal through the sequence of frequency steps in order to reduce the RE generated at or by the device. In some embodiments, the frequency steps are interleaved across the frequency span to avoid large frequency jumps. In some embodiments, the frequency step duration is optimally selected to reduce quasi peak values.

The antenna terminal and the RF terminal are connected to each other through a first transmission path only via an inductor. By switching between the open state and the closed state of the switch in accordance with the frequency of an RF signal, the first transmission channel or the second transmission channel is selected.
