    摘要: In a focus detecting apparatus wherein an imaging optical system is disposed rearwardly of the predetermined imaging plane of an objective lens to thereby form a plurality of object images on the basis of lights passed through different portions of the pupil of the objective lens and each of the object images is detected by a line sensor comprising a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements to thereby detect the focus condition of the objective lens from the amount of deviation of each object image, a field limitation plate having a plurality of openings and an optical filter for causing the characteristics of the light passed through the openings of the field limitation plate to differ from one another are provided near the predetermined imaging plane of the objective lens. Thus, the apparatus is adaptable for different focus detection conditions and is very simple in construction.

    摘要: A power converter adapted for use in a high-voltage circuit and equipped with a plurality of arms each comprising a plurality of thyristor elements connected in series, wherein an overvoltage limiter having an overvoltage limiting element and means for short-circuiting the ends of the overvoltage limiting element in response to flow of a load current therein are connected between the anode and the cathode of each thyristor element. The short-circuiting means has a gap between the two electrodes connected respectively to the anode and the cathode of each thyristor element, and also a metal layer of a low melting point which is molten by heat generated due to the flow of a load current in the overvoltage limiting element to fill the gap.

    摘要: Film of a known refractive index whose thickness is to be measured is illuminated by a white light beam. Two wave fronts from both sides of the film are directed to an interferometer. The wave fronts are out of phase in accordance with the thickness of the film. The two wave fronts are amplitude-split, respectively, by the beam splitter of the interferometer. Two of the split wave fronts are tilted by tilting means in the interferometer. The other two split wave fronts, as well as the two tilted wave fronts, are directed to an interference surface. Thus, there is formed a white interference pattern on the interference surface. The white interference pattern has a middle peak and two side peaks. The space interval between these peaks is measured by a scanner. By knowing the peak-to-peak interval, it is possible to discriminate the space interval between both sides of the film.
