摘要： A still image signal recording and reproducing apparatus wherein still image signals, mark signals and moving image signals are recorded on respective different regions on a tape-shaped recording medium. A still image reproducer is provided for reproducing the still image signals and a mark reproducer is provided for reproducing the mark signals. A feeding device is provided for feeding the recording medium longitudinally thereof at a predetermined speed during reproduction of the still image by the still image reproducer. A searching unit is provided for causing the feeder to feed the recording medium at a speed greater than the predetermined speed while causing the mark reproducer to reproduce the mark signals, wherein the searching unit causes the feeding device to reduce the speed of the recording medium, in response to the reproduction of the mark signals by the mark reproducer, during the feed of the recording medium at the speed greater than the predetermined speed.

摘要： There is a receiving apparatus in which the received data is recorded by a recording head which accesses each portion of a recording medium. This receiving apparatus comprises: a discriminating circuit to discriminate whether the portion accessed by the recording head is the recorded portion or the unrecorded portion upon reception; and a control circuit for allowing the recording head to access the unrecorded portion on the basis of the result of the discrimination of the discriminating circuit. Upon reception, the control circuit controls the recording head so as to automatically access the unrecorded portion. Further, upon reception, an amount of unrecorded portions is displayed.

摘要： An information recording system and apparatus records on a recording medium an audio signal, which is time-base compressed at a predetermined compression ratio, together with a data signal indicative of the compression ratio. A start signal indicative of the start of the audio signal, the data signal, the audio signal and an end signal indicative of the end of the audio signal are recorded in this order. A recording medium recorded by such system and apparatus is disclosed. A reproduction apparatus is also disclosed which reproduces the information out of such recording medium.

When each data of the second data sequence continuously shows a high error rate of a consecutive number of data of the first data sequence more than a predetermined number, the device generates data of values which are 1/a.sup.k (wherein "k" represents an integer between 1 and "n"; "a" a real number larger than 1; and "n" an integer at least 2) of a data of the first data sequence which has a low error rate and is located before or after the consecutive high error rate data of the first data sequence. The device performs data processing for muting the information signal by using these data.

摘要： A color filter, that may be used in conjunction with an image pickup device, includes first, second and third filter domains each of which is transmissive to a different one of three kinds of light each having a different color spectral characteristic. The filter domains are arranged in a matrix consisting of rows and columns. In a predetermined row, the filter domains are arranged repeatedly in an order comprising the first, the second, the third, and a repeat of the third domains. In rows of the matrix adjacent the predetermined row, the filter domains are repeatedly arranged in an order comprising the third, a repeat of the third, the first, and the second domains. This filter has particular utility for use in conjunction with an image pick device having pixels each of which is arranged respectively corresponding to one of the first, the second, and the third filter domains with each pixel accumulating image information. In a preferred embodiment of the filter, the first, second and third filter domains transmit white, yellow and cyan light; green, yellow and cyan light; yellow, white and green light; or white, cyan and green light. Certain of the filter domains may be formed by certain combinations of red, green and blue filter segments. Use of the filter provides reduced folding distortion.
