摘要： A driving apparatus supplies a drive signal to an optical modulator corresponding to a phase modulation format, and also, divides a part of an output light from the optical modulator; extracts some optical component of the divided light, which is distant from a carrier frequency by integral multiple of a modulation frequency, to detect a power of the optical component; and feedback controls a duty ratio of the drive signal or a cross-point level thereof so that the detected power approaches a minimum value. Thus, it is possible to stably perform phase modulation with high precision.

摘要： A data search device that is provided in a communication apparatus detects a memory area storing data to be transmitted from a memory unit having memory areas defined by IDs allotted to data. The data search device includes: a first flag that is provided for each of the memory areas of the memory unit, and indicate whether the data in the corresponding memory area is updated; a second flag that is provided for each group consisting of a predetermined number of the first flags, and indicates a data update state when at least one set of data in the first flags in the corresponding group indicates an updated state; and a search control unit that detects the memory area storing the data to be transmitted, by searching for the corresponding first flag after detecting the second flag.

The method comprises reacting an aryl compound Ar—H and with a compound represented by the formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 denote a hydrocarbon group or a heterocycle group which may be substituted, or they are bonded with each other directly or via —O—, —S—, —SO—, —SO2—, —NH—, —NR′—, —CO—, —COO—, —CONH—, an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or a phenylene group to form a ring structure which may be substituted, wherein R′ denotes a C1-5 alkyl group or a C6-10 aryl group; in the presence of an acid represented by the formula (2), wherein Rf denotes an alkyl group 80% or more of whose hydrogen atoms are substituted by fluorine atoms, “a” is an integer of 1 to 5; and a dehydrating agent to produce the salt of sulfonium represented by the formula (3).
