摘要: This invention provides a thermal recording medium which has a metallic thin layer, a heat sensitive layer formed on said metallic thin layer and a contrast layer formed on either said heat sensitive layer or the above metallic thin layer and visually contrasting with the above metallic thin layer.A thermal recording medium having a roughed metallic thin layer can be produced by using a material containing minute particles to form a roughed heat sensitive layer or a roughed contrast layer prior to the formation of the metallic thin layer and depositing it on the roughed heat sensitive layer or the roughed contrast layer.A desired pattern is thermally recorded by heating in said desired pattern the heat sensitive layer and the metallic thin layer of the above thermal recording medium to melt the heated areas of said metallic thin layer and disperse the molten metallic thin layer as fine particles into the heat sensitive layer touching said metallic thin layer thereby destroying it in the above desired pattern.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for producing an antimutagenic substance by using a lactic acid bacteria, which can produce the antimutagenic substance in a large quantity in an extremely simple manner and is economically advantageous; particularly a method for producing an antimutagenic substance effective for a carcinogenic substance, particularly a heterocyclic amine (HCA) which is a carcinogenic substance derived from a food, by using a lactic acid bacteria. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing an antimutagenic substance by using a lactic acid bacteria, which is characterized by suspending the lactic acid bacteria in a poorly nutrient or nutrient-free medium and leaving the lactic acid bacteria in the medium. Preferably, the poorly nutrient or nutrient-free medium is selected from the group consisting of physiological saline, a phosphate-buffered saline without a calcium or magnesium salt (PBS (−)), a citrate buffer, a distilled water, an ion-exchanged water, a natural water, a well water, a tap water, a mineral-added water, a vitamin-added water, an ion supply beverage for an athlete and the like. More preferably, the lactic acid bacteria is Lactobacillus plantarum strain KK-2503 or Lactobacillus alimentarius strain KN-15.

摘要: A magnetic recording medium is provided, which has recording layers having concavo-convex patterns formed on both sides of a substrate and can easily distinguish one face from the other face. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus having the magnetic recording medium is also provided. The magnetic recording medium includes a substrate, a first recording layer formed in a first concavo-convex pattern on a side of a first face, and a second recording layer formed in a second concavo-convex pattern on a side of a second face. The magnetic recording medium also includes a distinction element which can distinguish the first face from the second face. At least part of the distinction element is disposed in a non-recording area adjacent to at least one of an inner part and an outer part of a recording area in a radial direction.

摘要: An optical device vibrator has a driving mechanism and a controller. The driving mechanism repeatedly changes position or angle of an optical device in predetermined cycles in order to vibrate the optical device. The controller controls driving of the driving mechanism and changes a setting for the position or angle serving as a reference for the repeated change based on predetermined correction information.
