摘要: An objective lens driving apparatus for an optical pickup includes a blade on which an objective lens can be mounted, a plurality of elastic support members supporting the blade and capable of elastically moving with respect to the blade, and a servo mechanism driving the blade up and down, left and right, and in a rotational direction. The elastic support members are grouped into pairs arranged to face each other with respect to a center of rotation of the blade, and distances between the elastic support members in the respective pairs are substantially identical. By lessening the difference in the amount of deformation between the elastic support members supporting the blade during tilt control, the elastic support members are less likely to move in undesired directions when vibration is applied.

摘要: A high-speed Galois Counter Mode-Advanced Encryption Standard (GCM-AES) block cipher apparatus and method is provided. The apparatus can operate at a low clock frequency of 125 MHz and provide a 2 Gbps link encryption function in an Optical Line Termination (OLT) and an Optical Network Unit (ONU) of an Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON). 11-round block cipher of 128-bit input data is implemented using an 8-round Counter-AES (CTR-AES) block cipher module and a 3-round CTR-AES block cipher module, so that it is possible to provide a 1 Gbps link security function for an input frequency of 62.5 MHz and a 2 Gbps link security function for an input frequency of 125 MHz.

摘要: An apparatus and method for controlling abnormal traffic are provided. The apparatus includes: a list management unit which stores a list of Internet Protocols (IPs) transmitting normal packets and, if an IP transmitting packets constituting current packet traffic currently input to a network is a registered IP listed in the IP list, announces that the current packet traffic is packet traffic generated by a registered IP; a channel allocation unit which determines whether packets input via the list management unit are normal or abnormal, allocates channels to the input packets in such a manner that a packet determined as being normal is given priority over a packet determined as being abnormal, adjusts a number of channels reserved for allocation to normal packets in response to a predetermined control command, transmits the input packets to a network node, and transmits IP information regarding the input packets that are determined as being normal, the predetermined control command being issued according to the level of services for normal packet traffic; a success rate determination unit which determines a service success rate for packets received from a registered IP listed in the IP list stored in the list management unit based on packet traffic information received from the list management unit and the IP information received from the channel allocation information; and a channel number adjustment unit which transmits the predetermined command to the channel allocation unit so that the channel allocation unit can adjust the number of channels reserved for allocation to normal packets based on the service success rate determined by the success rate determination unit. Accordingly, it is possible to guarantee the survivability of a network and the reliability of Internet services by appropriately controlling abnormal traffic input to the network.

摘要: The present invention is related to a method of fabricating a rigid-flexible printed circuit board. Specifically, this invention relates to a method of fabricating a rigid-flexible printed circuit board, in which an internal circuit pattern exposed for use in an external pad and a mounting pad is protected from external environments using a resist cover by window etching the base copper foil of a flexible region upon formation of an external circuit pattern as opposed to using a resist cover. Thus the number of fabrication processes and the fabrication costs are decreased and the increase in defect rates due to contamination is prevented, resulting in maximized reliability.

摘要: A method for forming a nanoparticle oxide electrode of a dye-sensitized solar cell is provided. In the method, a basic aqueous solution or an acidic aqueous solution is respectively added to a nanoparticle oxide colloidal solution having a good acidic or basic dispersion, to form a basic nanoparticle oxide paste by an acid-base reaction. Next, after the nanoparticle oxide paste is coated on a substrate, the coated nanoparticle oxide paste is dried at a low temperature of 150° C. or lower. Accordingly, the low-temperature coating nanoparticle oxide paste with high viscosity can be manufactured on the basis of the acid-base reaction, even without the addition of polymer, and accordingly, the nanoparticle oxide electrode can be formed even at a low temperature.

摘要: A method and apparatus for implementing wireless internet connections for a plurality of portable computing devices located within a given area or hotspot. The invention employs a combination of wired and wireless links to manage propagation effects of the transmitted signal and to reduce interference with signals transmitted in adjacent spaces. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the existing wiring infrastructure at the hotspot, which may be coaxial cable for CATV, is used as the wired segment. A broadband signal, containing internet data obtained from a central computer, is transmitted from a plurality of access points. The signals transmitted from the access points are injected onto the existing wiring, with the broadband signal isolated from the data or power signals carried by the wiring infrastructure. At the outlet ends of the coaxial cable, the broadband signals are separated from the existing data or power signals and coupled to high efficiency antennas which radiate a signal throughout the corresponding living or activity space. In the case of a hotel room, for example, the signal is broadcast for reception anywhere within the hotel room. In accordance with one aspect of the method of the invention, the broadband signals are broadcast from the various access points using several carrier frequencies or channels, and distribution of the channels is arranged to avoid adjacent room same channel interference.
