An injection molded article for photographic photosensitive materials is disclosed, which is formed of a noncrystalline resin composition containing 50 wt % or more of a noncrystalline resin having a melt flow rate of from 1 to 60 g/10 min, a flexural modulus of elasticity of 20,000 kg/cm.sup.2 or more and a thermal deformation temperature of 70.degree. C. or higher, from 0.1 to 45 wt % of one or more of a rubbery material, a thermoplastic elastomer and an ethylene copolymer resin, from 0.01 to 49.9 wt % of one or more of a light-shielding material and a fibrous filler and from 0.001 to 20 wt % of one or more of an antioxidant, an age resistor, an ultraviolet absorbent, a fatty acid metal salt, a radical scavenger, a hydrate double salt compound and an oxidation inhibitory synergistic effect-providing agent. Also disclosed are a method for forming the injection molded article for photographic photosensitive materials and a package using the injection molded article for photographic photosensitive materials.

A color masterbach resin composition for a packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material which does not adversely affect photographic properties of the photographic photosensitive material, comprising a light-shielding material in a concentration thrice as much as or more that of the packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material, and a thermoplastic resin of which 50 wt. % or more is the same type as a thermoplastic resin occupying 50 wt. % or more of the total thermoplastic resin composing the packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material, production thereof, a packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material formed of a color masterbatch resin composition, and production thereof. In the color masterbatch resin composition and the packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material of the invention, light-shielding material is dispersed uniformly by employing a special resin composition, and thereby, adverse affects upon photographic hpotosensitive materials are prevented, and favorable appearance can be ensured. Moreover, fog with time, abnormal sensitivity, abrasion, pressure marks, etc. can be prevented.

Laminated films where at least one thermoplastic resin film is interposed between two high Young's modulus films. The laminated films are excellent in tear strength, tensile strength, heat seal strength and bursting strength, and always secure light-shielding, moistureproofness and gas barrier. They can be used as a single-sheet bag for packaging a heavy product having sharp edges.

In a container for a photographic film cartridge having a body and a cap fitted to said body, the improvement comprising that said cap is molded from a resin containing more than 20% by weight of a low-pressure linear low-density polyethylene which is a copolymer of ethylene and butene-1 and has a density of 0.90 to 0.93 g/cm.sup.3 and a melt index of 8 to 60 g/10 minutes.In the case of the molding resin for the cap of the invention, heat resistance is high, and this resin smoothly flow in a molding machine though temperature of the molten resin is relatively low. Accordingly, coloring troubles hardly occur, and molding cycle can be shortened. This resin is also superior in injection moldability, and molding troubles such as roping, camber, kink and deformation are rare. Mold shrinkage is also little. Since fitting strength of the cap and container body is large, the cap is scarcely detached during packaging process. Water vapor permeability of the resin of the cap is little, and moistureproofness of the container is high.

A packaging material for photosensitive materials which is a multilayer film comprising two coextruded multilayer inflation films wherein the amount of antistatic agent (wt. %) of an outer layer is more than 1.2 times greater than the antistatic agent content (wt. %) of a inner layer. In the packaging material of the invention, the necessary amount of antistatic agent to prevent static trouble bleeds out of the surface of the outer layer in a short time, and thereafter, the bleeding amount is almost constant. Therefore, the packaging material is excellent in heat sealability, appearance and touch and does not cause development problems.

A packaging material for photosensitive materials comprising a combination of a linear very low density polyethylene resin and a high density polyethylene resin as the resin components. The linear very low density polyethylene resin improves flexibility, low temperature resistance, heat sealing properties and physical strength such as impact puncture strength and tear strength. The polyethylene resin exhibits antiblocking property. The packaging material of the invention is excellent in flexibility, low temperature resistance and impact puncture strength, and blocking does not occur. Since the dispersibility of carbon black is excellent, lump generation troubles and fish eye troubles are rare. Moreover, low temperature heat sealability is excellent.

A packaging material for photosensitive materials which comprises packaging material which comprises a coextruded multilayer light-shielding film comprising an ethylene copolymer resin layer containing more than 30 wt. % of ethylene copolymer resin and an antioxidant, a thermoplastic resin layer having a melting point higher than said ethylene copolymer resin layer, and an adhesive thermoplastic resin layer containing a conductive material disposed between said ethylene copolymer resin layer and said thermoplastic resin layer.In the packaging material of the invention, the ethylene copolymer resin layer improves physical strength such as tear strength and heat sealing properties, and the thermoplastic resin layer makes heat sealing easy due to its heat resistance and improves bursting strength. The adhesive thermoplastic resin layer secures antistatic property and light-shielding, and it also improves the bonding strength between the ethylene copolymer resin layer and the thermoplastic resin layer. The packaging material of the invention hardly curls and is excellent in moistureproofness, gas barrier, physical strength, heat sealing properties and antistatic property. Nevertheless, the packaging material of the invention is inexpensive.

A packaging material which comprises an aluminum foil or an aluminum-metallized biaxially stretched thermoplastic resin film and a polyolefin resin film having an elongation at rupture (JIS P 8113) in either of longitudinal or lateral direction of more than 1.5 times of that of the aluminum foil or the aluminum-metallized film laminated thereto through a modified polyolefin resin adhesive layer containing an adhesive polyolefin resin which is a graft modified polyolefin resin. The packaging material of the invention can be torn easily by hand, and therefore, taking out work is carried out safely and rapidly even in a dark room. Nevertheless, the physical strength and tear strength are great and, light-shielding can be secured safely. Such a packaging material can be manufactured inexpensively.

In the packaging materials of the invention, a pair of inflation film layers is joined to each other by blocking in a flexible state to some degree without using adhesive. Therefore, they are not always joined completely integrally, and little space remains between the inflation film layers. The space can be increased by controlling the properties of the inflation film layers, blocking conditions and the like. By this pseudo-adhesion, physical strength such as tear strength is improved, buffer action is imparted, and curling is prevented.
