    摘要: In a container for a photographic film cartridge having a body and a cap fitted to said body, the improvement comprising that said cap is molded from a resin containing more than 20% by weight of a low-pressure linear low-density polyethylene which is a copolymer of ethylene and butene-1 and has a density of 0.90 to 0.93 g/cm.sup.3 and a melt index of 8 to 60 g/10 minutes.In the case of the molding resin for the cap of the invention, heat resistance is high, and this resin smoothly flow in a molding machine though temperature of the molten resin is relatively low. Accordingly, coloring troubles hardly occur, and molding cycle can be shortened. This resin is also superior in injection moldability, and molding troubles such as roping, camber, kink and deformation are rare. Mold shrinkage is also little. Since fitting strength of the cap and container body is large, the cap is scarcely detached during packaging process. Water vapor permeability of the resin of the cap is little, and moistureproofness of the container is high.

    摘要: A spool for a photographic film comprising 50 to 99.8 wt. % of polystyrene resin, 0.05 to 2.2 wt. % of dimethylpolysiloxane and/or modified dimethylpolysiloxane of which a part of methyl groups are substituted by carboxyalkyl groups, 0.5 to 6 wt. % of rubber and 0.05 to 3 wt. % of carbon black having a pH of 5 to 9 and a mean particle size of 10 to 120 m.mu., and the outer surface of the flange of the spool is made rough so that the reflectance of the incident light at an incident angle of 75 degrees is less than 40% in the direction of regular reflection at an angle of 75 degrees.Static frictional coefficient of this spool against metal is small, and thereby photographic film can be drawn out of a photographic film cartridge smoothly to the last. Breakage of the perforations of photographic film does not occur. The outer surface of the flange of the spool is not glossy and its reflectance is low. Accordingly, the light passed through the space between end cap of cartridge and boss of spool does not reach the photographic film in the cartridge.

    摘要: A process for producing a container is disclosed including molding the container using an injection molding machine with a multicavity mold having not less than 12 cavities by charging a hot runner thermoplastic resin having a melt flow rate of 5 to 80 g/10 minutes to the multicavity mold, wherein not less than 70% of the total injected resin amount at each shot is injected at an injection speed which is adjusted at 150 to 270 mm/sec., and the remaining resin at each shot is injected at a final injection speed which is adjusted at 3 to 90 mm/sec. By employing the process, molding troubles such as burrs, stringiness, short shot and weld lines do not occur, and the container can be molded continuously for a long period under unmanned conditions without screening inspection.

    摘要: In a container for a roll of a light-sensitive strip material having a core on which the light-sensitive strip material is coiled to form a roll, an opening for drawing out the light-sensitive strip material and a teremp cloth provided on the above opening for shielding from light, wherein a filling layer formed of polyolefin copolymer resin usable as the adhesive layer for fixing the teremp cloth on the container body is provided at the ground fabric of the teremp cloth, and/or a multilayer coextruded film is laminated under the ground fabric of the teremp cloth, and the multilayer coextruded film has a tensile strength of more than 500 g/15 mm width and comprises an adhesive layer of an ethylene copolymer resin having a comonomer content of 5 to 36 % for fixing said teremp cloth on the container body and a thermoplastic resin base layer having a melting point of higher than the ethylene copolymer resin adhesive layer by 10.degree. C. or more and a Young's modulus of more than 15 kg/mm.sup.2.In this container, the filling material does not so deeply permeate into pile yarns, even though the ground fabric is not so dense. Adhesion of pile yarn dust hardly occurs, and troubles in exposure and development caused by the pile yarn dust are solved. By incorporating the multilayer coextruded film, the thickness of the adhesive layer for fixing teremp cloth on the container body is made uniform and various problems caused by non-uniformity in the thickness of the adhesive layer are solved.

    摘要: Resin compositions for use in molding articles by injection molding comprise 50 to 90 wt. % of polypropylene resin, 9 to 48.5 wt. % of linear low density polyethylene resin, 0.05 to 15 wt. % of light-shielding material, 0.05 to 40 wt. % of reinforcing material, 0.05 to 6 wt. % of lubricant, and oxidation inhibitor present in an amount of less than 0.5 wt. %. These resin compositions display very little mold shrinkage and have excellent size accuracy. They also have outstanding rigidity, physical strength, heat resistance, wear resistance and slipping characteristics. They are readily molded by injection molding, and are relatively inexpensive. Articles molded from the resin compositions according to the invention are well adapted for use as photographic photosensitive materials.
