Abstract: A method performed by an access node includes the reception of dynamic resource requirements from a core network (CN) to perform adaptive scheduling of uplink transmissions linked to downlink data exchanges between the access node and a user device. The method involves configuring uplink and downlink schedule adaptively to accommodate variations in network conditions and user device requirements. The method facilitates an agile response from the core network which corresponds to closed-loop control events while considering real-time feedback from multiple user devices simultaneously.

Abstract: A network apparatus, such as a road side unit, measures signalling transmitted from vehicle devices, to obtain the status of road traffic in the proximity of the road side unit. If a pre-defined triggering event is detected in the status of the road traffic in the proximity of the road side unit, the road side unit transmits to a serving network node, a status report in order to report the obtained road traffic status to the serving network node. The road side unit receives, from the serving network node, control signalling indicating at least one road side unit operation mode selected for communication, and sets the operation mode of the road side unit to correspond to the at least one selected road side unit operation mode for the communication.

Abstract: An example technique is provided for receiving, by a base station in a wireless network, a priority map that indicates a mapping of a first set of priority classes for one or more radio bearers provided between the base station and a relay user device and a second set of priority classes for one or more proximity services (ProSe) sidelink logical channels provided between the relay user device and a remote user device, and allocating (or scheduling), by the base station based on the priority map, wireless resources to the relay user device to transmit data to the remote user device for one or more of the ProSe sidelink logical channels.

Abstract: It is provided a method, including: monitoring if a first cluster head of a first cluster of first communication devices has disappeared, wherein an apparatus performing the method has access to the first cluster enabling a device-to-device communication of the apparatus with at least one of the first communication devices; and, if it is monitored that the first cluster head has disappeared: detecting a second cluster head of a second cluster of second communication devices, wherein the second cluster head is different from the first cluster head, and the second cluster enables the device-to-device communication between at least two of the second communication devices; and requesting an access to the second cluster for the device-to-device communication.
