    摘要: A cassette includes a shell having a plurality of shielded channels extending between a front and a rear of the shell. Communication modules are loaded into the shielded channels. The communication modules have front mating interfaces configured for mating with corresponding first plugs and rear mating interfaces configured for mating with corresponding second plugs. The communication modules are loaded into the corresponding shielded channels such that the communication modules are individually shielded from one another. Optionally, the shell may have interior walls defining the shielded channels that extend between the front and the rear.

    摘要: An electrical connector includes a front housing holding a plurality of contacts and holding a cutting blade proximate to a rear of the front housing. The electrical connector also includes a rear housing having a wire organizer at a front of the rear housing that has a plurality of wire channels configured to receive corresponding wires therein. The rear housing has an outer support wall spaced apart from, and arranged outward of, the wire channels, where the outer support wall has a front edge. The wire channels extending along wire channel axes that extend across the front edge. During mating of the rear housing with the front housing, the cutting blade is configured to trim the wires extending from the wire organizer and is positioned between the outer support wall and the wire organizer. The wires are terminated to the contacts when the front housing and the rear housing are mated.

    摘要: An electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of contacts within the housing that are configured to engage with mating contacts of a mating connector. The contacts form at least a first differential pair and a second differential pair. The electrical connector also includes a circuit board housed within the housing. The circuit board has a substrate body formed from a dielectric material and includes a first trace electrically coupled to a contact of the first differential pair and a second trace electrically coupled to a contact of the second differential pair. At least one of the first and second traces is an open-ended trace. The circuit board also has a non-ohmic plate that is positioned adjacent to the traces. The plate is positioned to electromagnetically couple the first and second traces to each other and the non-ohmic plate and traces are configured for a desired electrical performance.

    摘要: A jack assembly is provided and includes a jack housing and a contact sub-assembly joined to a rear end of the housing. The contact sub-assembly includes a plurality of conductor channels that each hold an insulation displacement contact (IDC) therein. The jack assembly also includes a connector cap that is mounted to the jack housing and is formed from a non-conductive material having conductive particles dispersed therein. The connector cap has a body arranged to at least partially cover the contact sub-assembly. The body has an inner surface and a plurality of crosswalls projecting outwardly from the inner surface. Each crosswall has a gap and is positioned to be inserted into one of the plurality of conductor channels such that the IDC fits within the gap.

The cable support bracket includes a cable support plate configured to support the cables connected to the rear connectivity interface, an arm extending from the cable support plate, and a bias mechanism. The arm includes at least one arm portion mounted to the patch panel and a locking finger movable with respect to the arm portion. The bias mechanism operatively engages the arm portion and the locking finger and is configured to move the locking finger between a biased position and a released position. The locking finger engages the patch panel and secures the cable support bracket to the patch panel in the biased position, and the locking finger is disengaged from the patch panel and the cable support bracket can be removed from the patch panel in the released position

    摘要: An electrical connector adaptor for use with cable assemblies has been provided. The adapter comprises first and second contact sets and a housing. The housing has a first mating face configured to join with a mating connector and a second mating face configured to join with a cable assembly. The first and second mating faces retain the first and second contact sets in different first and second patterns, respectively. A strain relief is formed extending from the housing. The strain relief projects beyond the second mating face and is positioned such that the cable assembly rests against the strain relief when the cable assembly is joined to the second mating face. Optionally, a securing member is configured to secure the cable assembly to the strain relief.
