Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may monitor a channel for wireless communication associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) during one or more of a first active duration or a first inactive duration. The UE may operate in a first power mode during the first inactive duration. The UE may monitor the channel for wireless communication associated with a second RAT during one or more of a second active duration or a second inactive duration. The UE may operate during the second inactive duration in one or more of the first power mode or a second power. The UE may operate according to the first mode or the second mode based on the monitoring of the channel associated with the first RAT and the second RAT.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE starts a first timer (such as a discontinuous reception (DRX) hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round-trip-time (RTT) timer), after sending an uplink (UL) data transmission to a network entity. The UE then starts a second timer (such as a DRX retransmission timer) when the first timer expires. The UE then determines whether to wake up or sleep for a duration of the second timer based on a prior block error rate (BLER).

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for enabling collision mitigation for a user equipment (UE) operating in a dual active mode. In some aspects, the UE may generate a communication for a first subscription in a first time window associated with a first priority for a time domain division pattern with a second subscription. The UE may transmit, using the first subscription, the communication in a second time window associated with a second priority for the time domain division pattern. For example, the second time window associated with the second priority may be a time window in which traffic for the first subscription is prioritized. In some aspects, the UE may select modified periodic intervals for transmissions of a communication to mitigate collisions associated with the time domain division pattern. For example, a transmission time of the periodic communication may be varied (or randomized) over time.

A method for implementing RQoS that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes receiving a plurality of downlink user data packets from a first base station (BS), determining at least one reflective quality of service (RQoS) mapping rule for one or more uplink packet transmissions based on a subset of the plurality of downlink user data packets, filtering the plurality of downlink user data packets based on the at least one RQoS mapping rule, and forwarding the plurality of downlink user data packets to a corresponding application entity of the UE based on the filtering.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, devices and software that can be used for preventing damage to RF front end equipment used in wireless communication systems. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may establish a first communication having a first priority, wherein the first communication is associated with a first subscriber in a connected mode. The UE may establish a second communication having a second priority, wherein the second communication is associated with a second subscriber in the connected mode. The UE may identify a state of a transmit/receive (TRX) switch shared between the first communication and the second communication. The UE may perform, based at least in part on the state of the TRX switch, at least one of the first communication or the second communication using a TRX switching configuration.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a first subscription of the UE and a second subscription of the UE are associated with a same cell and are being used for a same radio access technology (RAT). The UE may activate a proxy subscription mode for the first subscription based at least in part on the determination that the first subscription of the UE and the second subscription of the UE are associated with the same cell and are being used for the same RAT, wherein the proxy subscription mode enables the UE to use the first subscription to perform one or more idle mode operations for the second subscription while the second subscription is in an idle mode.
