Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication, including a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The at least one processor is configured to receive a pre-allocation resource for a target cell via a handover command and transmit a physical layer acknowledgment based on a target cell downlink packet. The at least one processor is also configured to receive an indication for a communication with the target cell in response to the physical layer acknowledgement and access the target cell using the pre-allocated resource based on the indication for the communication with the target cell.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are described herein for a wireless communication device to request uplink grants associated with the first subscription using at least one Radio Frequency (RF) resource, including tuning away from the first subscription to the second subscription for a tune-away time interval, determining whether the tune-away time interval exceeds a threshold, transmitting at least one scheduling request associated with the first subscription for a throttled count in response to the tune-away time interval exceeding the threshold, wherein the throttled count is less than a default count, determining whether an uplink grant has been received in response to any of the at least one scheduling request transmitted within the throttled count, and initiating an uplink data Random Access Channel (RACH) process in response to not receiving the uplink grant.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may disconnect from a first radio access technology (RAT) service, independent of signaling from the first RAT service, after sensing that the UE has entered a coverage hole. The UE may use a connection to a second RAT service while in the coverage hole in association with disconnecting from the first RAT service. The UE may disconnect from the second RAT service, independent of signaling from the second RAT service, after sensing that the UE has exited the coverage hole and before expiration of a radio link failure (RLF) timer for the second RAT service. The UE may reconnect to the first RAT service before expiration of an RLF timer for the first RAT service. Numerous other aspects are described.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a first subscription of the UE and a second subscription of the UE are associated with a same cell and are being used for a same radio access technology (RAT). The UE may activate a proxy subscription mode for the first subscription based at least in part on the determination that the first subscription of the UE and the second subscription of the UE are associated with the same cell and are being used for the same RAT, wherein the proxy subscription mode enables the UE to use the first subscription to perform one or more idle mode operations for the second subscription while the second subscription is in an idle mode. The UE may determine that disconnecting from the non-HST cell and camping on a new HST cell is to be prioritized over remaining on the non-HST cell, based at least in part on the UE being in the HST railway and based at least in part on a priority of HST cells being greater than a priority of non-HST cells. Abstract: Various embodiments for managing uplink transmissions in a mobile communication device may include receiving, on a first subscription of the mobile communication device, an uplink grant from a first network and determining whether a tune-away from the first subscription to a second subscription of the mobile communication device is scheduled to occur during reception of a response message sent from the first network following an initial transmission of a data packet according to the uplink grant. The mobile communication device may use a block error rate and a buffer status report index of a connection between the first subscription and the first network to determine how to manage uplink transmissions following the tune-away.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus determines an interference type between a time division duplex (TDD) configuration subframe of a serving cell and a corresponding TDD configuration subframe of a neighboring cell, and sets a transmit power for an apparatus in the serving cell based on the interference type. The apparatus in the serving cell may be a user equipment (UE), in which case the apparatus applies a set of uplink (UL) open loop power control parameters for the UE. The apparatus in the serving cell may be a base station (eNB), in which case a DL transmit power is set for the eNB. Depending on the interference type, the DL transmit power may be a fixed, full power DL transmission or an adjusted DL transmission.
