摘要: In a mobile chip card reading module (20) with a channel (5) for accommodating a chip card (10) in which is arranged a reading head for reading the chip card (10), a front area (230), a rear area (220) which is shorter than the front area (230), a vertical pressing spring (2) arranged in the rear area (220), by which the chip card (10) when inserted into the reading module (20) is pressed towards a side wall of the channel (5), and by which the position of the inserted chip card (10) is fixed within the reading module (20), it has been made possible to make the chip card reading module even smaller and lighter in that the front area (230) of the chip card reading module (20) can be inserted into the accommodation channel (330) of a sleeve (300), which in its rear area (310), which is provided with a guide for the insertion of the chip card, has a collar (311) which fits snugly against the front edge of the rear area (220) of the chip card reading module, that the collar (311) in the inserted state of the chip card reading module forms with the rear area (220) thereof a unit whose height and width are each greater than those of the accommodation port of the computer, and the front area (230) of the sleeve (300) can be inserted into an accommodation port of the computer, the height and the width of this front area (230) being made sufficiently smaller than those of the accommodation port, so that it can be inserted to fit snugly into the accommodation port of the computer.

摘要: Methods for detecting the flight path of projectiles involve a sequence of N target detections that include detecting the measured velocities and azimuthal angle bearings of the projectile along the flight path of the projectile by Doppler radar at the times tn, wherein n=1 . . . N, and determining the flight path and the direction of motion of the projectile are from these measurements. The measurements are adapted in a first nonlinear parameter fit to an analytical relationship of the time curve of the radial velocity of the projectile while the projectile passes through the detection range of the radar and so that the absolute projectile velocity, minimum distance of the project flight path from the radar, time at which the projectile passes the point having the minimum distance, flight path direction in azimuth, and flight path direction in elevation can be estimated.

摘要: Multiplanar reformatting visualization is provided with multiple scrolling speeds. A plurality of buffers is provided. Each buffer stores composites of data from different planes. The amount of compositing to generate a total composite for a visualization may be less since the division into partial composites may reduce addition and subtraction or other compositing operations. One level of partial composite buffers may be used. The total is recomputed for each visualization. In other embodiments, a hierarchal buffer structure is used. For example, a total composite buffer is provided in addition to the partial composite buffers. By re-compositing the partial composites before and after adjustment for scrolling increment from the total composite buffer, the total composite is updated for scrolling. Two or more levels of buffers may be used.

摘要: The present invention comprises a novel method and apparatus for performing an open wedge, high tibial osteotomy. More particularly, the present invention comprises the provision and use of a novel method and apparatus for forming an appropriate osteotomy cut into the upper portion of the tibia, manipulating the tibia so as to open an appropriate wedge-like opening in the tibia, and then mounting an appropriately-shaped implant at the wedge-like opening in the tibia, so as to stabilize the tibia with the desired orientation, whereby to reorient the lower portion of the tibia relative to the tibial plateau and hence adjust the manner in which load is transferred from the femur to the tibia.
